Chapter 107

When Amy opened the door and saw Thaddeus standing outside, her expression shifted. "Ted… it's you?"

Thaddeus strode inside her home. "Who else would it be?"

Amy remained silent. Thaddeus could tell she was nervous.

She tugged her pajamas to cover the red mark on her chest that the madman made last night. She was afraid that Thaddeus would misunderstand.

However, he had already noticed those slight movements of hers. "You'll never see that man again."

Amy felt numb at his words. "What man?"

She didn't know what Thaddeus knew. She had always been careful and only called that man over late at night or early in the morning. Did Thaddeus find out?

Thaddeus didn't answer her question. Instead, he stood up and walked to the door. He recorded his fingerprints on the scanner and changed the passcode to the original.

"Don't change your passcode anymore!" he ordered.

Amy was too scared to speak. "Ted, I–"

Thaddeus looked at her sullenly. "From now on, call me Mr. Holt or Thaddeus."

A
