Just as Jessamine and Shane were struggling, two more distinguished customers arrived in the store.

"What a coincidence! We meet again," Amy greeted them with a smile as if their unpleasant encounter downstairs hadn't happened.

Sasha became excited when she noticed the dress on the mannequin in front of Jessamine. "Amy, this gown really suits you. Do you want to try it on?"

The sales assistant said hesitantly, "This lady saw this dress first."

Jessamine didn't really want to buy this gown. More importantly, Amy probably wasn't tall enough to pull off wearing it, either. So, she said, "Let her try it."

The sales assistant sighed in relief and apologized profusely to Jessamine before taking off the dress and giving it to Amy. Those who could afford to shop in a store like this were usually wealthy ladies. A sales assistant like her couldn't afford to upset them.
