LEO’S POV

I was expecting a whole lots of scenarios to unfold as I stepped my foot into the building but not a single of that scenario involve be clashing into my mate just I was about rounding a corner. I was astound but I had to quickly revamp that shock with relief.

Hugging her tightly to my chest for the first time in forever, I let her heal me. I let her warmth surge into me, let the sound of her beating heart stir my wolf awake. It was a beautiful feeling and for a moment, just for a moment I got caught up in it until I got shaken out of it by the thunderous yelling of that female.

“Find her!”

“Oops” I bet my mate may have crossed a little bit of their boundaries and leave without their consent. But who cares about their consent when she is with me now.

“This way” I guided her toward the exit.

The sound had slowly gone to rest and by the time we were out of the building, the sky was peach black. A type of night when even the moon is gloomy and the thousands of stars are hidden
