I followed behind me, not sure if I should trust him as blindly as I was doing or should just use the opportunity to slip away while he was distractedly walking in front of me.

I could just leave and save myself the need to be in a more riskier situation than this but then again I couldn't just leave when he had something very important to share with me about Beth.

I frankly needed to know what happened following just a few days I had not come to the palace to check up on her. She didn't even seem terrified or worrisome in any way, her life was up and going when I met her last.

I still couldn't wrap my head around the fact that she left. Why will Beth ever do that? The Beth I was familiar with would never, not unless she was in danger.

But again the Beth I know would never put herself in a situation that would endanger her life. She would rather stick to her boundaries and stay within them. “Then what has actually happened?” I can't help but rummage through my brain f
