Chapter 15

As Doctor John entered the house with the bags and packages, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards him. I had been so angry and hurt in the past, but now, I was starting to see things from a different perspective. I realized that I couldn't stay angry forever, and that I needed to do what was best for my child.

As I looked at Doctor John, I saw a man who was genuinely trying to make amends for his past mistakes. He was the father of my child, and even though it was a mistake, I couldn't deny the fact that he was trying to take responsibility for his actions.

I took a deep breath and let go of all the anger and resentment I had been holding onto. I knew that I couldn't change the past, but I could shape the future. And I wanted to do what was best for my child.
