MIRABEL POV

Raymond nodded “Alright, I am going to call him now” he said

“Okay..”

Ryan carefully placed the iPad on the coffee table, angling it for optimal viewing. Mr. Albert's face appeared on the screen, his expression serious. "Boss," he said, his voice low and firm.

Raymond nodded, his eyes fixed intently on the screen. "Well, how about what I told you? Any progress so far?" he asked, his tone expectant.

Mr. Albert smiled, a hint of satisfaction in his voice. "Everything is in place. I just need her to follow me to the John's office, so we can transfer the shares into her name and finalize the paperwork."

Raymond nodded thoughtfully, his eyes narrowing as he considered the plan. I watched him, my mind racing with questions, but before I could ask any of them, he continued speaking.

"She won't be the one to follow you, Albert. My PA will handle it, or better still, Georgina should," he said, his voice firm.

My expression changed immediately. I felt a surge of surprise and conc
