Rose's POV

"Shit!"I cursed as I saw the man, walking back and forth, trying to get in. "I have to leave here now!"

My mind raced, searching for a way to escape this sudden threat. Panic surged through my veins, urging me to take action. I took a deep breath, trying to steady my trembling hands and suppress the rising fear within me.

The figure outside continued to bang on the door, the urgency in their actions heightening my sense of vulnerability. I knew I couldn't afford to wait around and find out their intentions. I had to act swiftly and decisively.

"Linda!" I called out, my voice filled with desperation. "Linda, please hurry back! I can't hide from them."

I turned away from the door, my eyes scanning the room for any means of escape. The windows, though small, offered a glimpse of hope. I rushed toward them, my heart pounding in my chest.

As I reached the first window, I tried to open it but my efforts were futile. I walked around the house and I found a second window. I struggle
