Adriel's POV

"I'll call you back, Uncle," I said and stepped out of the hospital room, my heart heavy still with worry for Rose but I needed to find the lady who was calling my name.

As I followed the sound of the enraged voice, I soon found myself in the hospital's bustling lobby. There, in the midst of the chaos, was Emily, Luke's mother, shouting and demanding to see me.

"Where's that bastard Alpha? Where is he? Adriel? Do you think you can murder my family and go scot-free? Show your face!" she raged, her eyes wild with grief and anger.
