Rose's POV

"Honeymoon?" I asked, excitedly. "I thought we wouldn't be able to go."

"I pulled some strings for you, my love," he said looking at me lovingly.

"What of the twins?" I asked, worried for my kids.

"They are also sorted. They will be with us but not with us. It's like a children's vacation for them too. Nothing will happen to them, relax."

Excitement and joy bubbled up within me. The thought of spending a romantic getaway alone with Adriel, away from the responsibilities and duties that came with our roles, and the children was incredibly appealing.

I looked into his eyes, my heart pounding, and I smiled warmly.

"Yes, Adriel. I'd love to go on a honeymoon vacation with you," I replied, my voice tinged with anticipation.

Adriel's smile widened, his eyes sparkling. "Wonderful!" he exclaimed, his enthusiasm matching mine. "I've arranged everything. We'll be leaving tonight for a secluded island I discovered. I have a feeling you'll love it."
