Rose's POV

That day, I didn't give him an answer and walked to the kids instead.

As days turned into weeks, life in the pack house settled into a new normal. Leilani and Lucien were thriving, forming strong bonds with other young wolves and fully embracing their identities as part of the pack. They attended pack training sessions and started learning to control their shifting abilities and honing their instincts as wolves.

As for me, I focused on my responsibilities as their mother and businesswoman and did everything in my power to ensure the well-being of my children.

Everything went well, but amidst the busy days, I couldn't shake off the nagging feeling that something was amiss.

One evening, as I casually walked through the main hall of the pack house, I overheard hushed whispers from a group of pack members. Their voices carried a mix of intrigue and curiosity, and I couldn't help but catch snippets of their conversation.

"Have you seen Lady Rose's white wolf?" one of them said.
