Rose's POV

My heart raced as Adriel presented his options.

On one hand, staying with him and his lover, Fena, meant having a form of familiarity and protection, but it also meant constant reminders of the love I craved and could not get.

On the other hand, living far away from them, with strangers could be lonely and uncertain, but then, it offered a chance to start afresh, away from the painful memories of the Alpha who couldn't, or rather, wouldn't accept me.

I sighed, nodding my head. "Living in isolation here or being with strangers?" I mumbled to myself, contemplating the pros and cons of each choice.
