I don't look away from him, not even when he takes off his glasses, revealing his now-gray eyes. Even as I'm consumed by their intensity, I maintain firmness in my knees.

“What's the problem, princess?” His deep voice reverberates in the small space.

“Nothing,” I huff, raising an eyebrow and rolling my eyes.

“It doesn't seem like anything,” he responds, trapping me between his hands pressed against the door and his body. “Especially acting like a spoiled teenager.”

I open my mouth, boiling with anger at his accusation.

“If I'm acting like a teenager, then you were acting like a single man, accepting those women hitting on you,” I say in one breath, raising my hand and pushing his muscular chest with the tip of my finger, even though I know it won't budge.
