Chapter 80

After the stroll, Chelsey settled Lucas under a ginkgo tree.

The weather was getting colder, and the leaves had begun to turn yellow.

Chelsey picked up the yellow ginkgo leaves on the ground, stacked them into layers, and made a flower shape out of them. Then, she used a strand of her hair to tie the petioles together to prevent them from falling apart.

"Lucas, this is for you."

Her smile was lovelier than the flowers.

Lucas looked at the ginkgo-leaves flower Chelsey gave him, feeling pleasantly surprised. "What a

special flower."

"Of course. You've had almost everything in life. I must give you something special to make it meaningful."

As she spoke, Chelsey placed the flower in Lucas' hand.

If Lucas weren't bound to the wheelchair, he would've hugged Chelsey and kissed her with passion.

After sitting in the garden for a while, Chelsey pushed Lucas back to the ward.

She didn't notice that someone was watching them in the dark.
