Chapter 88

Chelsey cried so hard that she could hardly utter a word.

Timothy continued to comfort her, saying, "It was the kidnapper's fault. They've already paid the price for their actions."

At this moment, Timothy had deep regrets.

When Chelsey first kicked him out of the hospital, he shouldn't have gone to the bar and got drunk to the point of blacking out.

He should have rescued her immediately when she was kidnapped.

For the last couple of days, Timothy's men were trying to find out what vault the kidnapper had been talking about, and what it had to do with Chelsey.

The culprit kidnapped her once ten years ago and this time, they've done it again.

Timothy couldn't be sure that it wouldn't happen again in the future.

Meanwhile, Chelsey was wallowing in the grief of Lucas' tragic condition. She had no time to care about the vault and what possible treasures it could behold.

She only cared about Lucas.

After she ended the phone call with Timothy, Chelsey lay on the bed like a zombie.
