Chapter 0002

“Tristan please, I'm begging you. Listen to me," I yelled as they dragged me towards a rope, ready to hang me.

Tristan stared back at me coldly then grabbed onto Valerie's hand as he turned away to kiss her. He pulled away seconds later then turned back to me with a smirk.

“Kill her!"

I woke up abruptly with sweat dripping down my face. I glanced around immediately and let out a sigh of relief. That had just been a nightmare.

I didn't recognize this place. Where was I?

Events of last night came rushing back to me and I gasped before jumping out of the bed. I needed to save Andrew before it was too late.

I froze in my spot as the door suddenly flung open, revealing a guy with short brown hair and green eyes. I was mesmerized by how handsome and heavenly built he was.

“Oh you are awake," He uttered then flashed me a kind smile and I almost melted into a poodle.

I cleared my throat then bowed my head at him.

“Thank you for saving me and bringing me to your home last night. I'm sorry if I was an inconvenience to you." I muttered and he laughed.

“Oh no, I wasn't the one that saved you. Come on, you have to eat so you can get better" He murmured and I furrowed my eyebrows as I turned back to him but before I could utter a word, with just a snap of his fingers, sone maids came rushing in with food. More food than I have ever seen in my life.

“You don't have to do this… I…"

“It was an order that you must be properly fed so don't fight it and eat, hmm?" I pursed my lips with a frown. An order from whom? Had I ended up in another pack?

Just then, some guards came rushing in and bowed their heads in front of the brown haired gorgeous man.

“Beta Kade. Your presence has been requested." The guard uttered and my eyes widened at the mention of the title. So I had ended up in another pack and this man was the Beta.

His aura was so powerful, more powerful than my previous Alpha himself. I couldn't help but wonder how intimidating the Alpha of this pack’s Aura would be.

“Can't it wait? I'm busy," Kade uttered but the guards shook their heads.

“Is the new Alpha of the crescent moon pack, Alpha Tristan and he's not taking no for an answer." The guard replied and I gasped loudly with my eyes wide as I took a step backwards, crashing into the night stand behind me and knocking down the lamp.

They all turned to me with questioning gazes.

“I'm sorry, I…" I began but couldn't seem to get the words out. How had they found me already? How did they know I was here?

“Clean up this mess." Kade muttered to the maids and they immediately got to work.

“Eat then rest for now, okay? I won't be long," Kade uttered and was about to walk away when I ran towards him, clenching onto his shirt tightly.

“You can't let him take me, I'm innocent. I didn't kill anyone." I muttered as I cried.

“Oh? The Alpha Is here for you?" Kade questioned and I nodded slowly.

“But I didn't do it. Please don't let him take me, I didn't kill anyone." I begged and he sighed.

“What has Axel gotten himself into now?" I heard Kade mutter under his breath but didn't understand what he meant by that.

“Come with me then." He uttered then grabbed my hand as he led me away from the room.

As soon as we got out of the mansion, I couldn't help but gasp in awe at how beautiful and huge this place was. Everyone screamed power here and everything was different than what I was used to.

My hand tightened around Kade as soon as my eyes landed on Tristan. It was obvious he was fuming with anger with the way he was staring at me and beside him was Valerie which made me scowl.

“To what do we owe this pleasure, Tristan? By the way, congratulations on becoming Alpha," Kade uttered and Tristan flashed him a small smile.

“I wish it was under better terms. I can see you have a criminal of mine under your possession and I would like to have her back." Tristan uttered, going straight to the point and I frowned before glancing up at Kade with pleading eyes but he wasn't staring at me but at Tristan.

“If you are talking about this lady beside me then I'm sorry, she cannot be handed over to you," Kade uttered and Tristan frowned with confusion written all over his face.

“And why is that?" Before Kade could reply, A deep husky voice sounded behind us.

“Because she's my possession now." Everyone immediately fell to their knees including Kade and I didn't need to be told before falling to my knees and bowing my head.

“Good day Alpha King" They all greeted and I gasped lightly as I raised up my head to glance at the Alpha King.

I had only ever heard stories of him. Not many people saw him because he never left his home but he was always in the front line when it came to wars. He was merciless and ruthless. Most people called him a monster and now I understand why.

It had nothing to do with his features. As a matter of fact, he was the most handsome man I had ever laid my eyes on. I could feel my knees go weak as my eyes trailed down his body. How on earth was someone this perfect?

He had jet black hair with silver eyes that shun bright even during the day. My eyes couldn't help my trailed down to his plump pink. He was perfect.

“Tristan," The Alpha King uttered. I immediately snapped out of my trance as I bowed my head along with everyone else.

“Alpha King. It wasn't my intention to barge in here this way but you have a criminal that belongs to me in your midst. She ran away last night and ended up here but I'm here to take her back." Tristan uttered and my hand tightened around Kade's.

“Belongs to you? How?" The Alpha King questioned slowly.

“I'm sorry, Alpha King. I don't understand your question." Tristan uttered with confusion laced in his voice.

“How does she belong to you?" The Alpha King's voice sounded again but this time, with more power and I whimpered slightly. How could someone's aura be so godly and strong? Was he even a normal wolf?

“She's a criminal in my pack and aside from that… she's my mate," Tristan uttered and I frowned at his words.

“Hmm. So you are the one who marked her? Kade, bring her," I gasped slightly as Kade lifted me up by the arm and led me towards the Alpha King.

He turned to me and I wanted to look away but his eyes kept mine locked in. His eyes were blank and his face was void of any emotion. He looked even better up close.

He reached out a hand to me and my eyes widened but nevertheless, I immediately placed my hand in his because I didn't want to anger him.

“This little wolf here belongs to me now." The Alpha King uttered and I gasped. I heard Tristan and Valerie gasp as well, turning my attention to them.

Valerie seemed extremely shocked while an angered look appeared on Tristan's face.

“You can't do that," Tristan muttered harshly.

“Do not speak to the Alpha King that way if you don't want your head to be chopped off." Kade uttered and his threat sent a chill down my spine. He was clearly very serious.

“What's your name?" The Alpha King uttered and my eyes widened when I noticed he was talking to me.

“My… my name… my name is Dahlia… Dahlia Evans, Alpha King," I stuttered then bowed my head.

“I have to punish her, she committed a crime against me. She killed my father, the Alpha," The anger in Tristan's voice could not be missed. Did he want to kill me that much?

“Oh I have different ways I can punish her," The Alpha King muttered and I gasped as he suddenly lifted my chin up with his index finger so he was staring deeply into my eyes.

“Tell me Dahlia, how would you like me to punish you?" The Alpha King murmured seductively as he caressed my cheek with his thumb and a shiver ran down my spine but not out of fear. For some reason, I was drawn to him despite being mated to Tristan.

“With all due respect, she's my mate. Alpha King" Tristan muttered through clenched teeth.

“Yes and that is a problem. Reject him now."...
