~DAHLIA~

I groaned slightly as I slowly opened my eyes. I furrowed my eyebrows at how dark the room was.

“You are awake," I let out a shriek and sat up straight as I stared at Axel with wide eyes.

“What are you doing here? How long have I been unconscious?" I questioned as I glanced outside the window and saw it was dark outside.

“Well you are my property so I had to keep an eye on you since your dear mate won't leave you alone," I frowned at his words.

“I'm no one's property." I muttered and he grinned.

“I own you, little wolf which means you are my property now. Hurry up, we leave in an hour," He muttered and was about to walk away when I immediately climbed out of bed and ran towards him, grabbing onto his hand.

“I need a favor from you," I murmured and he turned to me with a scoff.

“And who gave you that right to ask favors from me?" He murmured as he caressed my face gently and I had to stop myself from shivering. Not out of fear but out of something else…

“I want to take Andrew's sister with me. She's just three and…"

“No." He uttered and I frowned.

“She can't stay here all alone," I tried to reason with him but I could see in his eyes that he didn't like where the conversation was going.

“I'm sure your dear mate will give her to a lovely couple that will take care of her," He murmured and was about to walk away but I hurriedly stood in front of him.

“Please, I'm begging you. I know Andrew betrayed me but his sister needs me so please…"

“No. Do you think I'd like hearing a kid cry while I walk around in my own house? They disgust me," He muttered and I frowned.

“That's a very inhumane thing to say," I muttered and he smirked before leaning so close to me and stopped when our noses were inches apart from each other.

“Get ready and don't waste my time or I might get bored and kill Andrew's sister. You remember the way I ripped off his head right? Won't want that to happen to his three year old sister, would we?" He murmured then straightened up and walked away while I stood there with my eyes wide and my mouth agape.

He was a monster! I fucking hated him!

I plopped myself on the bed and screamed into a pillow out of frustration.

“You okay?" My eyes widened as I immediately sat up straight and saw Kade standing by my door with an amused look on his face.

I cleared my throat and I knew for a fact that my face was red from embarrassment.

“No I'm not. I don't think I'll be able to survive with Axel. I was trying to see some good in him but he's just filled with darkness. How could someone be so dark?" I murmured and Kade sighed as he walked into the room.

“There is good in him but it isn't a whole lot that it would matter. Don't worry, I'll be there with you every step of the way so you don't end up killing yourself," Kade uttered and I sighed.

“I hate my life. How did I get caught up in this?" I muttered and he pinched my cheek slightly which made me pout.

“To me, I feel like everything happens for a reason. Plus, if this didn't happen,you would never have met me," He murmured and I smiled.

”Well you are the only good out of all of this…. How is Tristan holding up?" I questioned and he sighed.

“It's getting harder for us to stop him from running to you so we need to leave before Axel loses his temper and ends up hurting him," Tristan muttered as he stood up from the bed and reached out a hand towards me which I took immediately.

Kade said Axel didn't want me bringing any clothes from here. Only things I knew I couldn't live without were allowed.

After we packed up, I took a deep breath before walking out of my room.

“I need to speak with Dahlia! She's my mate! You can't take her!" My eyes widened when I heard Tristan yelling from the living room.

Without thinking, I ran towards the sound and I gasped as I saw some men holding him to the ground with Axel standing in front of me.

“Dahlia love, come here," Axel muttered as he turned towards me and outstretched his hand. I glanced down at Tristan who was peering up at me before placing my hand in Axel's and gasped loudly as he pulled me into his arms.

“Your dear mate won't stop with the noise. What should I do about that?" He murmured as he caressed my cheek and I frowned.

“I'll handle it," I muttered and he chuckled.

“What you should do is reject him," My eyes widened while Tristan began to fight against the guard's hold.

“No Dahlia! No!" He screamed and I shook my head at Axel.

“You promised that I won't have to!" I yelled and Axel stared back at me for a while then flashed me a sinister smile.

“I can't let my property be tied to another man. If you won't reject him, I'll just have to kill him." He uttered and I watched as the guards lifted Tristan up from the ground and before I could blink, Axel sank his claws into Tristan's chest.

“No!" I screamed and was about to run towards Axel but Kade held me back.

“We don't have much time, Little wolf. If you don't reject him then I'd have no other choice but to rip out his heart," Axel uttered while I cried and struggled against Kade's hold as I listened to Tristan scream in pain.

“You promised you monster! Don't hurt him!" I pleaded and Axel turned to me.

“Just say the word, Damnit!" He muttered then sank his claws deeper into Tristan's chest. Tristan let out a scream and coughed out blood and I could feel my heart racing with dread.

“I, Dahlia Evans, Reject Alpha Tristan Blake as my mate!" I screamed with tears in my eyes and fell to the ground as the pain hit me. I screamed together with Tristan as we both cried. That had to be one of the worst pain I had ever experienced.

“There, that wasn't so bad was it?" Axel muttered and from the corner of my eye, I saw Kade about to reach for me.

“Leave her, get her things. We leave now," Immediately, I felt Axel's arms around me as he carried me in his arms so easily like I weighed nothing.

“I hate you, I hate you so much," I muttered as I glared up at him with tears in my eyes but my body was the weak to fight against him.

He smiled down at me then caressed my face before placing a kiss on the tip of my nose.

“Oh you have no idea how much I want to ravish you and by the time I'm done, you are either going to love or hate me but for your sake, I hope it's the latter."...
