Moore.

A slight knock on my door woke me up from my sleep. I had been so tired I fell asleep the moment my body hit the bed. Thank God I had gotten rid of the dress and taken a shower before going downstairs to the work assigned to me by Lucien.

There's not much clothes in the closet. I had to make do with the dress Emily left behind.

The knock came again and forcefully, I pushed myself to the door.

I locked myself indoors just so to avoid Lucien from barging in and I can tell he's the one pounding excessively on my door.

Why won't he just let me be?

I pondered pushing my hands over my face so I could have a clear vision of where I was headed.

The persistent intruder stopped, probably aware that I'm already awake and forcing my sore limbs to open up.

I got to the door and turned the knob. I was expecting a shove or a hard push, but whoever the person is didn't open up immediately until he's sure I'm steps away from the door.

That can't be him.
