Chapter Three: Real trouble.

Hazel quickly finished her shower and went inside the room to dress. As she opened her box to pick out an outfit, Zeus came inside the room. 

“Be fast Hazel” Zeus said to her with a straight face. 

Hazel hastened her movement as she picked out a short blue gown and her underwear. Zeus moved outside after talking. 

When the Jet landed, Zeus came out of the jet first and his eyes narrowed as he saw his friend and one of his mistresses coming toward him. 

“Hey bro” Mark greeted as he came close to him. Zeus scoffed hard while staring at him “How did you know the time I was supposed to land? 

Mark smiled sheepishly with his handsome and mature face “Your assistant told me, Zeus” 

As Zeus was about to smack his friend, Anya called out and rushed to hug him tightly. 

“Zeus, I missed you so much,” She said as she hugged him tightly with her teeth wide open. Zeus hugged her back and “hmm” in response. 

“Holy shit!! Mark suddenly said loudly as his eyes gazed at Hazel coming down from the jet. Anya opened her mouth slightly as she turned her head in the direction. 

Hazel smiled as she came downstairs but her stomach was burning because she saw how a lady hugged her husband so tightly. She almost screamed but she tried to keep calm and not overthink it. 

Zeus held Hazel’s hand tightly and his eyes darkened at her exposed legs. “This is my wife,” he said coldly and glanced at them as if sending warnings. 

“Hi, I'm Hazel. Nice to meet you” Hazel said sweetly. Mark smiled back teasingly “I’m Mark, your husband’s friend” 

“Zeus told me a lot about you” Hazel responded to the young and tall handsome man. “He looks so carefree,” she thought to herself. 

“Zeus, I thought you were leaving her over there. Why is she in Italy? Anya said to Zeus with a stern voice. Hazel shifted her attention to the lady who spoke and admired her beauty, a tall beautiful lady with long blonde hair. She looks so confident. 

Hazel kept quiet and waited to hear her husband’s response, her heart dropped as she heard his words. 

“Don’t worry, she won’t disturb you” Zeus said angrily, he was burning with rage at Hazel’s short gown. He never cared before but she was now his wife! 

Mark giggled hard as his facial expression was screaming that he couldn't wait to see how the game between them would unfold. 

They all left the airport and took Mark’s car, Mark was driving while Anya sat in the front seat, and Zeus and his wife occupied the back seat. 

Zeus was on his phone checking his company updates as he had been absent for weeks now when he heard Anya speak up “Zeus darling, can I stay for tonight? 

Zeus without removing his eyes from his phone responded coldly “Why? 

“I missed you so much, I just want to spend the night with you,” Anya replied with a sweet voice. 

Mark busted laughter at Anya’s words, he stared at Hazel through the mirror and was speechless at her calm face. 

“Hazel, you are so pretty” Mark complimented earning a cold look from Zeus. 

Hazel smiled in response. She felt weak suddenly, she was starting to rethink her decision but she thought to herself that it was still early. With that, she closed her eyes and inhaled sharply. 

After a few minutes' drive, they alighted at Zeus’s mansion. Mark was staying with his friend also because of how close they were. The mansion was an extremely big one with bodyguards and a strong security system. Hazel followed the trio behind as they entered the mansion. The maids and butlers came forward to welcome their boss. 

Zeus took Hazel’s hands and led her to a room on the third floor, the room was slightly big and he ordered his maids to design it according to Hazel’s taste. Hazel gasped excitedly as she could hardly differentiate between her room at home and the room designed for her. She stared at Zeus happily “How did you get my taste so perfectly? 

Zeus responded “Hazel we've been friends for so long, of course, I know everything about you”

Hazel smiled sweetly but was dropped when she heard his next words. 

“But you decided to ruin it with a marriage” Zeus stated coldly. Without giving her the chance to respond, he continued “This is your room Hazel and you will stay here” 

Hazel stared at him confusedly and asked “What do you mean Zeus? We are supposed to use the same room” 

Zeus sat on the bed and drew her closer to him “Hazel, I care about you as my friend, not my wife. I'm protecting your feelings by giving you a separate room” 

Hazel opened her mouth slightly “Zeus, you don't love me? 

Zeus responded straightly “Did you just figure it out? We are friends Hazel. 

Hazel replied as she thought it was time to clear things out “Zeus, are you saying you have never for once liked me? Then why did you agree to the marriage? 

Zeus sighed before responding “I agreed because everyone was forcing you on me! Why can't you just maintain our friendship? I hate that you agreed to this marriage first. I don't love you! You are my childhood friend. 

Hazel widened her eyes in shock as she never knew his family pressured him into marrying her. She thought he felt the same way as her. “Okay it's fine, I'm sorry that you were being forced but I love you, Zeus. Have always loved you and that's the reason I agreed to this. 

Zeus scoffed hard “I can't reciprocate your love and I will appreciate it if you act like we are friends onwards” Zeus stood up from the bed and turned to leave when Hazel ran after him and held his hand “Then why did you have sex with me? 

Zeus without turning his head replied coldly “You can keep your body from me next time” 

Hazel nodded bitterly and said “I know you don't love me now but I promise to make you love me, Zeus” 

Zeus giggled and responded “It will be the best for you if you wake up from your dream”

Zeus left the room leaving Hazel behind.

As he was walking downstairs to meet his friends, he thought to himself “Who does she think she is? I never loved you all these years and you are expecting me to love you now. What a joker! 

Anya’s face lit up as Zeus walked toward them.  “Zeus, we need to talk,” Anya said to him. 

Zeus went to sit on a chair and signaled to Anya to sit on his lap. Anya excitedly sat on his lap before she spoke up “Zeus, why did you agree to marry her? 

Zeus raised her chin and smiled “Why do you get so jealous? 

“That's because you are mine! Anya said while pouting. Zeus' face turned cold instantly “Don't repeat that, I belong to no one” 

Anya nodded pitifully “Then you shouldn't have married anyone”

Zeus responded “Hazel won't disturb you, Anya. Leave her alone and focus on me” 

Anya smiled at his words as she rubbed his chest “You must think I'm daft Zeus” she thought to herself. 

Mark cleared his throat to announce his presence “Zeus, you need to go to the company. At this rate, you won't grow anymore” 

Zeus' face turned serious as he realized the truth but as the arrogant man he was, he replied to his friend “Even if I shut down my company, I'm still capable of feeding generations” 

Mark smirked hard “I know Zeus, I need to talk to you actually” 

As Zeus sensed the seriousness in his voice, he told Anya to excuse them which she did without throwing tantrums. 

When Anya left the room, Mark looked straight at his friend. “Zeus, are you aware of Zack’s plan? 

Zeus creased his brows hard “What is his plan except wanting to overthrow me in the business world? 

Mark facepalmed “Zack wants to kill you, bro! He lowered his voice as he said that. 

Zeus responded nonchalantly “Let him bring it on. I have my forces with me and I know you are telling me this because you want me to join your team” 

Mark replied “Zeus you are right. We are the only ones that can protect you. Now you have a wife who they can target. 

Zeus' eyes turned cold “I dare anyone to touch her. Mark, listen, I'm not interested in the mafia thing you belong to. I will ask for your help if I ever need it without the need to join” 

Mark sighed helplessly, he was scared for his friend as he was aware of the amount of enemies he had. No one knows him as a mafia except his friend but he has failed terribly in initiating his friend. 

Zeus was about to speak up when he suddenly heard Hazel’s loud voice. He stood up to go and check what was happening immediately. 

Mark giggled behind him as he heard Anya’s voice too. 

“My guy is in real trouble!
