Emily's POV

I turned to Eric to see him staring at me with a look of disapproval.

He snatched the phone and growled into it.

"My wife is going nowhere. I'm warning you to return my daughter back."

He chuckled. "Tick Tock. Tick Tock. You have just ten minutes to choose, Emily. What would you prefer? Your daughter's head served to you on a platter when you're in bed with your husband or your husband reconnecting with his real wife who is pregnant with his child, while you get to have your daughter hale and hearty? The ball is in your court!'

All I felt was my blood pumping loudly in my ears.

I turned to see Cecilia and Alicia, who had been watching the drama with curiosity wearing smug smiles on their faces as they looked on to watch how the drama would unfold.

I turned to Lola, who wore a wide smirk on her face.
