Anonymous person's POV

My heels clicked against the bare ground as I was led to the office of the officer in charge.

"Madam, who are you going to see?"

Ignoring the calls of the warder who ran after me to ask me meaningless questions, I faced the door to the office where I was going squarely.

I was going to fulfil my wish regardless of anyone's wishes. My heart was already hardened enough by Eric's choices and decisions of recent, so why not give him a little heartache as well.

I pushed open the door to the office of the man I had come to see who stared at me in surprise.

As I took my seat in the seat opposite him, the warder ran in, breathing heavily.

"I tried to stop her, sir. I don't know how she walked so fast. She refused to listen to me."

The man had a tint of disappointment but also a subtle look of hope as he stared at me.

He cleared his throat.

"It's fine, officer Will. You can go. I'll handle her," he spoke in a gruff voice to the man who sighed and shot me a glare.
