Emily's POV

I swayed with every bump of the private car Eric had sent to pick me and Mia up.

"I'm sorry about that, ma'am," the driver apologises, driving a little slower.

"Mummy, where are we going? Are we really going to see my dad?" Mia asked, bobbing around like a ball pm the seat with a wife grin on her small face.

I flashed her a tired smile.

She had to come along after I had been convinced enough that Eric wanted to see me.

Oh God! All I could do was pray and hope he had regained his memory, as the last thing I wanted was to be thrown out of the hospital again.
