Lola's POV

My body trembled in uncertainty as I sat in the living room, staring into space after reaching Cecilia through Alicia to give her a piece of my mind.

I was glad that I had gotten that off my head. Now, I just had to find out where they were. I also had to reach Eric somehow, but his phone had also been out of coverage for days.

My lips pressed together in a deep scowl. Something was not right about Eric's disappearance from the hospital, and I would not rest until I got to the root of the matter.

Toying with my phone, a myriad of thoughts ran through my mind at once. I had not gotten any feedback from Rico since Joanne had spoken in the background earlier.

A wicked smile played on my lips at how I had combated the stupid announcement that Jaonne had made on the news. It was a good thing that I had dirt on her. How else would I have diverted the bad press?
