ANGELINA
“Angie, do you have my bracelet?”
I turned to face her, feigning innocence. “If it’s blue, then no.”
“Ha! You do have it!” she said as she closed her locker.
I stuck my tongue out at her. “No, I don’t.”
She raised an eyebrow in question. “And it’s not comfortably resting on your wrist right?”
“Ria, I think you need to get your eyes checked out,” I mocked concern.
“Bitch,” she mumbled as I giggled.
“My favourite girl in the whole entire world!”
I beamed when I saw Dane headed our way. “Hey!”
“Hey twit,” Ria smiled.
He rolled his eyes at her. “Oh sister, always lovely running into you.”
She smirked. “Don’t roll your eyes at me. They might get stuck in the other direction.”
He frowned. “That’s stupid Ria.”
“Eh, your frown is stupid,” she retorted as she shrugged. The twins’ banter is something I was used to by now.
“So, why aren’t you at practice?” I asked Dane. He looked down at me with his gorgeous gray eyes.
Dane stood tall and lean, with gray eyes and brown hair. He’s the captain of the football team and my boyfriend. Ria is the female clone of Dane. Her brown hair cascades down her back to reach her waist. Her eyes are a darker shade of gray in comparison to Dane.
She’s absolutely beautiful.
“I wanted to come and check if you’re ok. I know Ria is going to drag you to the mall,” he reminded.
“I’m fine Dane. I actually love shopping with Ria, unlike some people,” I teased.
He shrugged. “You would hate it if she tortured you the way she tortured me.”
“I’m standing right here,” Ria reminded.
“And the tree is out there,” I taunted, to which I received a lovely glare.
“Alright then! I’ll see you at my house tonight?” Dane asked.
“Yep!” I responded before turning to leave with Ria.
“Oh Angie?” he called after me, stopping me. I turned to look at him and stumbled when I found him right in front of me.
“Yes?” I said a little breathlessly with how close he was standing. He kissed me softly on the lips.
“Happy birthday,” he smiled before walking away, leaving me as red as a stop sign.
Ria let out what I’d come to know as her dramatic sigh. “As much as I enjoy seeing my brother eating my best friend’s face off, can we leave? We have a busy afternoon.”
I raised an eyebrow at that. “We do?”
I thought we were only going to shop for a few stuff.
“Duh! We have to get everything for our sleepover,” Ria replied, but I knew she was hiding something.
“Well, alright,” I said, choosing not to question her.
We headed over to her Mercedes Benz. Ria’s family is crazy rich, and everyone around town knows who they are. We got into the car and headed over to the mall. She dragged me to the usual stores and bought anything she thought would look good on me.
Seriously, she was going crazy today.
“Ria Lewis, slow down,” I huffed.
“Hurry woman!” she called over her shoulder.
“My word,” I whined as I finally reached her. She had just entered a shoe store.
“Ria, why are you buying me so many things?” I questioned.
“It’s your birthday,” she said nonchalantly as she piled boxes of shoes onto her hands.
How is she able to carry all that?
“But it’s unnecessary,” I complained.
“Woman, just be grateful! We’re going to the salon from here,” she squealed.
“I hate you,” I sang.
“I love you too,” she sang in response.
We left the store, thankfully with only three boxes of shoes after a mini fight. We headed over to the salon and got our hair and nails done. I didn’t understand her fussing. When we were done at the mall, she drove us back to my house to check on my parents.
“Mom, dad, are you home?” I shouted.
“Kitchen,” my mom giggled.
I can bet you they were making out.
Ria laughed. “Is it safe?”
My dad coughed. “It’s safe.”
“Hello parents,” I smiled as we reached the kitchen. My mom was flushed to say the least.
“Hey baby girls,” my dad greeted.
“Nice lipstick stain dad,” Ria teased, making him blush. My parents are parents to Ria, just as hers are to me.
“How’s your birthday honey?” my mom asked me.
“It’s been awesome, but now I’m here to fetch my bag for the sleepover,” I informed.
“You guys have to see this really amazing outfit she bought. In fact, here go try it on now and come back down to show us,” Ria said as she handed me a bag and a box.
“But-”
“GO!” Ria demanded.
“Alright, sheesh!” I resigned before heading up to my room.
The white dress fit me to perfection and made feel like a princess. It’s short and sleeveless, with some plant detailing on it. With my hair in small curls, it made me look that much cuter. I paired it with a simple pair of black stilettos, feeling confident enough to reveal the final look to my parents and best friend.
“Wow!” my mom and little sister Greta cooed, making me blush. Greta’s only three years old, and she must’ve woken up from her nap while I was in my room.
Ria wiped her forehead dramatically, whistling lowly. “You look stunning Angie!”
“Indeed you do princess,” my dad agreed. I heard something snip behind me and turned to see Ria with a pair of scissors and the price tag in her hand.
“Well then, let’s go,” she said before dragging me out the door.
“Let me change first,” I requested.
“You look just fine,” she said as we got outside. My parents and Greta were behind us and they locked the house before going to my dad’s car.
I was confused by that. “Where are you guys going?”
“Out,” was all they said.
Ria shoved me into the car, ignoring my protests. The girl has some unbelievable strength on her. She drove to her house, and you could just feel the excitement rolling off of her. Why would she be so excited?
I was about to find out apparently.
“SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELINA!” people jumped out from everywhere once we entered her house, or rather, mansion.
I jumped out of my skin, until I noticed that basically everyone from school was here, with my parents, Greta and Ria’s parents.
I stood stunned. “Oh my god! You planned a surprise party for me?”
“Of course we did,” Mrs Lewis smiled.
“I don’t know what to say,” I admitted, teary eyed.
“Thank you would be appropriate,” Dane’s voice reached my ears.
When I turned to face him, I gawked. He looked incredibly handsome in his black jeans and blue button up shirt. The shirt clung deliciously onto him and he just looked sinfully hot. I didn’t even notice everyone disperse around me. I only came back to reality when warm lips met mine, making me pull the person closer.
I knew who it was because, well, it’s Dane.
“Happy birthday baby,” he smiled, giving me a box. I opened it to find a locket. Inside, it was a picture of us kissing. I could remember that day very well. It was Valentine’s Day.
I leaned on my toes even further to kiss his cheek. “Thank you babe. I love it.”
“Let’s go and party before I change my mind and take you upstairs,” he whispered seductively.
Dane has this thing where he just leaves me speechless. He has an aura about him that demands respect, and most people give it to him. You’d swear he’s a king around here with the way people respect him. They watch what they say around him. The only person I’ve ever heard tell him off is Hayden, his best friend.
The guy hates me though, and I don’t know why.
“Happy birthday Angelina,” Unity said as she hugged me. She’s one of my other friends.
I hugged her back. “Thanks Uni.”
Soon the whole party was in full swing and the music was blasting everywhere. The elders had kept to themselves in the one side of the house, while us youngsters were on the other side. All my presents were sitting in Ria’s room. Ria’s room is massive, and yet the gifts filled more than half of the room.
Everyone was having a good time, which I was grateful for. It had been a while since we’d had anything to celebrate, which I found weird, but didn’t question. For the past year, I’d felt a weird vibe around, but I couldn’t bring myself to tell anyone about it.
I was dancing with Dane when I felt a chill run down my spine. I stopped dancing, looking around the room, but there was nothing. Not even Dane noticed that I’d stopped dancing. I left the room, only to bump into my parents. They and Greta were leaving, despite my protests, but made me promise to tell them if I was safe or not at the end of the party.
I ended up dancing with Dane for most of the night. He’s the perfect gentleman, and I love him, though I’ve never told him. We’ve been together for two years, but he’s never rushed me into anything. We’ve grown up together and I used to tell him I love him all the time before we dated, so I don’t know if the love is different now or not.
The party was beginning to die down around three in the morning, and the last people left at four. I headed up to Ria’s room after kissing Dane goodnight. I laughed to myself when I found my best friend passed out on her king sized bed. I’m pretty sure she was wasted. I changed out of my outfit and into my sleepwear, before getting her a glass of water and pills.
I knew she would need them in the morning.
I got into the bed and stared at the ceiling. I was tired, but something was nagging me. I tossed and turned, trying to get rid of the feeling. I couldn’t understand why my chest felt so heavy all of a sudden. It wasn’t until the chill ran up my spine again that concern really hit me.
I got up and had a glass of water, thinking it might help. I remembered that my parents had said to check in with them. I went over to my phone to call them, only to have no one reply. My parents always respond to my calls. Fear washed over me and I grabbed a jacket and Ria’s car keys before dashing out.
Something was wrong.
I don’t know how I knew it, but I just did.
I bumped into Dane on my way out and he was shirtless in just his pyjama bottoms. On any other day, I would’ve stood and stared, but I was still overcome with dread. He tried to stop me, but could see the determination in my eyes, so he took the keys from me and said he would drive instead. He stepped on the gas, which I was thankful for.
I was shaking as we reached my house. The house was dark when we reached the door. When I stepped in, I heard glass crunch beneath me, which was strange. Dane found the light switch and flipped it, before my life left me.
The whole house was trashed, but that’s not what made me so helpless.
In the middle of the turmoil, my parents lay in each other’s arms with Greta between them, blood surrounding them. It wasn’t that hard to figure out that they were dead. They had bite marks all over them, and chunks of their bodies were missing. I couldn’t even scream as the tears left my eyes.
I was defeated as I headed for the ground, only to be caught before I could fall.
“Angie, I’m so sorry,” Dane said as he held me. Only then did I cry like I’ve never cried before.
I held onto him as I mourned the death of my family.
SILASMy mother and I stood at the graves that had broken her spirit. It had been six years since they were taken from us - six years since I’d built up a great hatred for rogues. It had been six years since I’d been forced to become the most powerful and feared alpha in the world to protect my people.Even the royals fear me, but they mostly respect me. The elders have acknowledged that I possess great power, but that will never bring my father back. It will never bring my grandfather back. All it guarantees, is that no one will harm anyone I love ever again.“Honey, let’s go home. I can’t be here anymore,” my mother said sadly as she squeezed my hand. There are no women I love more than my mother, my grandmother, and my sister. They are the most important people to me.I helped her back to the car and helped her in, before driving us home. The ride was silent, and I was thankful for th
ANGELINAI watched all the trees zoom past us until we reached a cottage looking house. It was pretty big, but not as big as the castle that seemed to be built in the middle of this place. It intrigued me as we pulled into the driveway. My grandfather took my bags into the house while I stood outside admiring the huge house ahead.“Does someone live there?” I asked my grandmother when I noticed her next to me.“A lot of people live in that house. You could say it’s a communal house for everyone who lives this side,” she informed.“You love this place, don’t you?” I asked. She nodded.“It’s been my home for a long time, and I hope you’ll like it too,” she said as she squeezed my shoulder. I nodded and returned to my mute state. My grandparents didn’t pressure me to do anything. They just notified me that they’d signed me up to continue my Seni
SILASReagan smiled, extending his hand. “Alpha Silas, it’s been an honour having you here.”I shook his hand. “The honour is mine Reagan, and please call me Silas.”“Are you sure you won’t kill me?” he teased.“Reagan, I’m powerful, not heartless,” I chuckled.“Many would beg to differ Silas,” he smiled. I inwardly frowned.People think I’m heartless?I shrugged. “Well, I’m not bothered by opinions. I wouldn’t be where I am if I was.”“Wise! Well, I shall see you in three month’s time at the Alpha’s meeting,” he said.“Indeed,” I agreed before leaving.I was halfway home, driving as I listened to the radio, when my arm felt like it was on fire. I jerked the car the other way, almost ramming into an oncoming car. I breathed in hard before pulling
SILA“I hate rogues Nikolas,” I reminded him.“I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU SILAS,” he roared.“You can’t kill me idiot,” I teased.“Silas, I swear, if you mistreat her, there will be consequences! She needs us and you WILL be there for her,”he demanded.“She’s a rogue Nikolas,” I said once more before shutting him out. I could feel him fighting to get me to listen to him.“He’s right you know,” Troy commented after a while.I was lost. “Who?”“Nikolas. You left your little argument open to me. He’s right. She may be a rogue, but you also have to remember that she doesn’t even know what she is. You can’t compare her to other rogues,” Troy argued.&ldqu
SILASDana and the other team of doctors worked on her while Troy kept me restrained. They put her in a coma since she wasn’t healing, meaning she would heal the human way. She had a cast on her leg. Dana notified me that everything else with her was fine, and that she would wake herself up when she’s ready.I was really worried, but I didn’t show it. Only the three doctors, Troy, and Dana were aware that I’d found my mate, and that she’s the rogue. I really wish I knew what her name was. I also wish I knew who brought her such pain. Why would anyone want to hurt my angel like that?“Bro, what I’ve been trying to figure out is how the hell you made it out of that cell! It’s 100% werewolf proof, and yet your stubborn powerful ass made it out. Silas, just how strong are you? I know you’re freakishly strong, but do you have any idea just how strong?” Troy asked me.&
He looked shocked but obliged. He bent down and that’s when I grabbed his ear and pinched it, hard. Dahlia and Dana gasped.“Stop growling at people! It’s very rude,” I whispered in his ear. I smiled when I watched him shiver before letting his ear go. He was furious but his eyes held lust.Weird!“I, don’t think, I will, ever, see anything, as funny, as that,” Troy said breathlessly in between laughs. He was standing at the door with my food in his hands as tears ran down his face.“Uh Angelina, you’ve got balls dear,” Dana laughed nervously as she eyed her brother. She and Dahlia shared the same fearful look.I shrugged. “It didn’t even hurt.”“Says you,” Silas grumbled angrily. He didn’t expect me to pull him back down and quickly place a kiss on his ear.“I’m sorry,” I whispered in the same ear. Again he shive
SILASAngelina...My beautiful Angel.Words can’t begin to describe how happy Nikolas and I are. Finding your mate really is something. She’s everything I could ever want in a woman, and so much more! She handles me in a way that no-one else would ever get away with. Her ear pinching stunt is my biggest indicator of that.I love her though. I know they say when you meet your mate, the love is instant, but you don’t really believe it until it happens. She’s really perfect, and I can tell that she’s going to be a wonderful Luna, once we figure out why her wolf isn’t coming out.I’m beyond curious about that.“Quite the mate you’ve got yourself there Keller,” Troy chuckled as I drove to my house.I smirked. “She is something isn’t she?”“The way she handles you is just amazing! I never thought anyo
“And I am yours,” I smiled.“That explains why I can’t stop thinking about you and why I feel empty when you’re not here,” she remarked. She could already feel it.“Yes, because I felt the same leaving you behind. Once we’ve mated, we’ll be able to hear each other’s thoughts, though we can block each other out. We’ll also be able to communicate via a mind link,” I told her.“Like telepathically?” she asked in excitement.“Yes,” I chuckled.“Ok! And what about this mating thing?” she asked.“Well, there’s three steps to it. The first step is to kiss, the second step is to have sex, and the third step is for me to mark you as you’re about to climax,” I replied. She blushed, hiding in my chest. “You just said that as though you’re discussing the price of bread with me.”“What d
ANGELINA“BEST WEDDING OF THE MILLENIUM.”They said.“YOU WONT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT A THING.”They said.“WE’LL TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING.”They said.“YOU CAN TRUST US.”They said. And now...MY WEDDING DRESS IS MISSING!“Lina has to walk down the aisle in the next hour! Her hair and make-up are done. Anyone mind explaining to me WHERE THE HELL HER WEDDING DRESS IS?” my twin sister roared, eyes literally blazing.“Calm down baby,” Krallion sighed. She gave him the ‘don’t you start with me’ look. You see, at this point in time, I just sat on my bed, watching the chaos unfold. It’s my wedding day and nothing seems to be going right. My sisters have been planning this day since the twins were born. They sent out invites and it honestly is the biggest wedding I know of. More than five thousand people are expected to attend, and that’s just the werewolves. There are about four thousand vampires attending. In the past six months, Silas and I have made a lot of acquaintances.“How are you so c
SILAS“Daemons?” Angelina offered.“Ah, that would explain it. Daemonic pregnancies are not painful at all,” he informed.“Really?” Angelina and I asked.“Yep! We’ve never understood it, but it’s always been that way. Anyway, let’s get you sorted out. I’ll get Julia to come and attend to you,” he smiled. Julia is the gynaecologist here.“Thanks,” I said before we were lead to a room. I helped her change out of her gown into the hospital dress.“Si, where are you guys?” Kieran linked me.“Doctor’s quarters,” I replied.“What’s wrong?” my best friend panicked.“Nothing much! Angelina’s about to give birth,” I chuckled.“AND YOU DON’T SAY ANYTHING?” he shouted.“Calm down leech! We wanted to be alone for this one,” I laughed.“You sure?” he asked.“Yeah, we are! We’ll tell you as soon as we’re ready to let you see the kids,” I replied before shutting him out as Julia walked into the room.“Alphas,” she bowed respectfully.“Hello Julia,” we both replied.“Well, let’s see what’s going on,
SILAS“Would you stop pacing already?” Angelina groaned.“I can’t help it! I’m freaking nervous!” Dahlia snapped.“I’m pretty sure all this pacing isn’t good for you in any way,” I added.“I’m pretty sure I’m very close to killing you both! You’re not helping me right now!” Dahlia whined before sitting down. It’s been two months since the big incident and not a lot has happened as such. Leila gave birth to a baby boy and they named him Kailin Luca Knight. Hayden adopted his last name, but chose to keep the name Hayden. He and Leila got married soon after the birth of their son and things in their pack have been going smoothly. They changed the name of the pack to the Red Moon Pack. They all wanted a new beginning, so they welcomed the change.Azuela, Dahlia, and Angelina are due to give birth any time now. Today however, is the inauguration of the Royals. They were officially taking up their roles as the Kings and Queens of their respective kingdoms. The Councils gave us two months’ w
ANGELINA“I LIKE BIG BUTTS AND I CANNOT LIE!” Troy shouted.“I DARE YOU TO SAY THAT AGAIN!” Ria shouted back.“UH, I LOVE RIA AND I CANNOT LIE!” he shot back.“YOU’D BETTER!” my best friend shouted while we all laughed at a suddenly flustered Troy.We decided on having a bonfire instead of a dinner. Everyone had settled into our home and we were all just looking forward to a peaceful night. I looked around me and smiled as I watched everyone with their mates. My sisters in particular made me really smile. Krallion is such a big softie when it comes to Iris and I, it’s not even funny.Chen had been looking very disorientated and I was worried. Iris didn’t seem bothered by this. In fact, she looked amused by the fact that he was disorientated. Something told me I would love finding out why he was like that and that’s exactly what I did.“Chen, what’s wrong?” I asked him.“It’s nothing,” he whispered. He really looked traumatized.“Aw, come on babe, tell them how you pissed in your pants
IRIS“I do, but I have my conditions that I will discuss with the Council later. Right now I just want to be with my family,” my father replied as Lucia began stirring.“So, I have two daughters?” she whispered as she took in the twins.“Well three when you count Isis,” Angelina smiled. There was silence for a while.“I can live with that,” Lucia smiled before opening her arms up for us. I didn’t hesitate joining the family hug.“What about Axel and Isak?” Silas asked. My father shrugged. “They’re Krallion’s responsibility now.”“Uhm hun, could you perhaps turn the sky back to its normal colour?” Angelica asked Krallion since the sky was still dark, but not like night dark.“Not in this state. The earth sky will affect me,” Krallion responded.“Don’t you have a human transition?” Chen asked him.“No,” Krallion replied.“Daddy?” Angelica looked to him pleadingly.“I don’t know how to do it,” my father admitted, biting his lip. I knew he was thinking hard.“Just think about a human form
IRISBefore anyone could do or say anything, two really bright lights appeared before us. We all shielded our eyes from it. When they had died down, we looked up to find two women staring at all of us. They looked exactly alike, without a difference in place.“Celestina! Celeste! Where have the two of you been?” Axel demanded.“Calm down Axel! Things had to happen this way without any of you being able to find us. It’s been a long time coming, and now things are about to change!” Celeste spoke up before Kree appeared next to them.I frowned. “Kree?”“Hello child,” she smiled.“Kree here is the new Higher Power of Magic. She has a successor here on earth, whom she will watch over. When he reaches the right age, he will become the Great Witch,” Celestina said.“A male Great Witch? Is that even possible?” Troy asked.“It is the way it will be. Since that is the future, we will now address the present. Axel, you have been stripped of all your power as the Creator! You are no longer worthy
DRACOIsak and I have fought side by side in our daemon forms too many times to not know what moves the other would pull on the other. It was almost predictable really. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw my twins both begin to glow. Iris was trying to calm them both down as they both started shaking violently. I was instantly even more worried than before.I didn’t even think it was possible.“You’re not meant to be a family man Draco, and yet you hid your mate and your children from me,” Isak spat.I scoffed. “Because you deserved to know right?”“I was your best friend and you kept this from me!” he roared.“Someone’s being quite the girl,” I heard Kieran mumble, making me chuckle.“You’re truly insane bud. You claim to be this mighty best friend and yet you’re the one who wants my head on a platter as we speak!” I spat maliciously.“DAD, SOMETHING’S HAPPENING,” Iris shouted.Just then, the ground started to shake so violently that all fighting ceased. The skies had thunderstorms be
DRACOI was pacing in my dungeon, wondering what was going on with my daughters, until I remembered that Angelina had said that Isak was keeping Lucia’s body in his house. Even though I’d begun to mourn her death, I could feel that she wasn’t dead, or at least not yet. I teleported myself to the traitor’s house and was surprised to find it empty.I went in search of my mate’s body as I followed instinct through the house. I was wary when I found her body in his office. Something about this scene just felt too easy. Her body was pale and I immediately noticed the dagger in her heart. It was the Dagger of Immobility. It temporarily caused death, and the only person who could remove it is the person who put it there.“I knew I should’ve killed you when I had the chance,” the voice said behind me.I knew that voice too well not to know who it was. I wasn’t about to entertain the person, so I grabbed my mate and teleported us to the safest place I could think for us both. Fate must be funn
ANGELINA“SILAS!” I all but screamed.“I’m here Angel! Sorry about that! Everyone is panicking from the tremors and the sky is turning as red as it is in the Underworld,” he replied. I sighed in relief.“And you? Do you feel any different?” I asked.“A little, but like more powerful more than anything. Krallion’s essence is fighting me though,” he said in confusion.“What do you mean?” I asked in my own confusion.“This is going to sound very strange, but his essence refuses to return to him,” he replied.“Iris, can Krallion’s essence refuse to go back to him?” I asked my sister.“It’s refusing?” her eyebrows shot up to her hairline. I nodded.“That isn’t supposed to be happening,” she panicked.“Well? What do we do now?” I asked.“I’m thinking,” she said as she paced the room. Angelica looked lost and I couldn’t blame her. She was voluntarily giving blood for a cause she had no idea about.“Angel?” Silas linked.“I’m here! We’re trying to figure out why his essence won’t leave him,”
