"It's been years now. Are you sure this is all about your late wife?" She had asked suspiciously. It didn't make sense to her that he would keep her as his mistress for years and not have the slightest interest in making a wife out of her. After everything, they've been through. She loved his son as her own and never mistreated the boy, not only because she was warned sternly by Williams that the day she does as little as raising her voice at him, that day would be her last in his home, but because she loved the kid and Danny was a good kid.
