Selene Zephyrine was her name. Danny remembered the day she visited. He was wearing his mother's apron and making dinner for both him and his father. She thought it was sweet that he had taken up the duty of both mother and son but little did she know he takes the duty of a wife as well.

She was a beautiful blonde with blue eyes in her early thirties. Danny remembered seeing her at his mother's funeral a year ago.

"How are you, Danny?" She had smiled so sweetly at him.

"I'm doing well, thank you." Danny greeted and invited her into the house. He offered to take her coat which she handed over to him and he went to put it away on the rack.

He went back into the kitchen to continue making dinner when she swooped in and took over for him. He welcomed her kind gesture and so went on to do his school assignments and fold the laundry. By the time he returned to the living room dinner was served and it smelt divine.
