It was around eleven in the morning and Danny stood at the landing of the stairs, hand still gripping the fancy golden railing as he stared in astonishment, ears instantly picking up noises of the guests chattering and the music merging. His eyes scanned the crowd until they fell on one particular woman he recognized.

She has aged a bit but still the beautiful blonde blue eyes since many years ago. The woman who had left him without a single word of goodbye and beside her sat a younger boy who looks quite a lot like someone he knew. For a moment there, Danny contemplated going over to the woman as he was curious to know how she found them.

Who had invited her?
