Chapter 88 All rosy

"How did this get here?" She wondered aloud when she saw a box sitting pretty at a corner of the room. She hadn't noticed it since she came inside and was quite sure it wasn't there the previous night. She took a deep breath and moved closer to the box, picking it up at once. It was not so large but felt quite heavy.

"Why is it so heavy?"

She managed to carry it to her bedside table where she dumped it and then sat on her bed, panting heavil like she had just completed a marathon. She felt a strong urge to open it but then she was a bit hesu. She wasn't so sure how it got there and she didn't want to take chances as well. "Or should I send for Adrian so we can see it together?"

"And why should you? I don't think you should bother about that. Just go on to open it," a voice said to her, sounding so firm and stern.

She took another deep breath and then gently loosened the ribbon that was tied to the box after which she pulled the lid off it. She was shocked to the marrow at what she saw
