Chapter 96 Hot as hell

The next morning, Adrian awoke to the sound of distant sirens. He sat up, his senses on high alert as he tried to identify the source of the commotion. Glancing at Sara, still asleep beside him, he gently brushed a strand of hair away from her face before slipping out of bed to investigate.

Adrian opened the door to his room and was greeted by the sight of chaos unfolding in the corridor. Security personnel rushed back and forth, radios crackling with urgent messages. Marcus appeared, his face etched with concern.

"Adrian, we have a situation," Marcus said, his voice tense. "Victor Valenti's men have breached our defenses. They're closing in on us."

Adrian's heart raced as he absorbed the gravity of the situation. He quickly realized that their enemy had wasted no time in making a move. Determined not to be caught off guard, he turned to Marcus.

"Round up our team and secure the perimeter," Adrian ordered, his voice firm and resolute. "We can't let them get any closer."
