Chapter 0012

@Another Day: Many of my friends are from rich families, Cindy. I'll tell them all to join your live stream next time and send you more gifts!

Gerald was active again.

@Another Day: I'll take note of David and Ross' accounts. When you have more fans, we can block them. They have no place in a live stream! They're too broke. I feel ashamed of them.

At that moment, a system message popped up in the live stream.

[My Dear sent a Super Spaceship!]

Cindy was still relishing in the delight of the 5 Cash Guns she had received from Gerald. The other audience members noticed the message before she did, and the comment section flared up again.

@Handsome Guy: Woah! Someone sent a Super Spaceship!

@Innocent July: We have an unknown millionaire! Is he from our class? Who is he!?

@Too Handsome For Money: Someone sent… a Super Spaceship!? Dude, being a live streamer seems easy! I think I'm going to start my own live stream later!

@Weak of Heart: Is he your boyfriend, Cindy? Did you find someone rich?

Cindy finally noticed the message. She was first taken aback. She covered her mouth in disbelief that someone had actually sent her a Super Spaceship. She moved closer to the screen to confirm what she saw. She was so excited that she was at a loss for words and could do nothing but giggle in a silly manner.

"Woah! Who was that!? A Super Spaceship costs five grand! Is he from our class?" David gaped at his phone screen.

"He can't be! Gerald is our only classmate who's from a rich family. Nobody else can afford to send that!" said Ross with his eyes on his own phone. He was perplexed at this turn of events as well.

@Another Day: Hmph! You think you're so great for sending a Super Spaceship? I can send one too! I won't lose to anyone when it comes to money!

Gerald could not stand the change in the trend of people complimenting him in the comment section.

Gerald's comment barely appeared on the screen when a digital bunny suddenly seemed to have escaped its den and kept pushing out more notifications.

[My Dear sent a Super Spaceship!]

[My Dear sent a Super Spaceship!]

[My Dear sent a Super Spaceship!]

[My Dear sent a Super Spaceship!]

[My Dear sent a Super Spaceship!]

[My Dear sent a Super Spaceship!]

"F*ck! F*ck! F*ck…" David blurted without much thought when My Dear sent the fifth Super Spaceship.

The messages in the comment section were moving upward at thrice the speed now. The level of compliments and flattery intensified severalfold.

Cindy was bewildered by My Dear's actions. She grabbed her hair with her hands. She could not wrap her mind around this. She could not understand why My Dear was sending her that many gifts. He sent her 11 Super Spaceships, equivalent to $55,000!

"Thank you, My Dear. I'm losing my mind right now. I can't believe what happened was true. What do you want me to perform, My Dear? I'll do anything!" Cindy looked into the camera with her moist eyes.

My Dear typed.

@My Dear: Make me the admin. I'll take charge of the live stream alone.

"Alright! I'll set you up!" Cindy agreed to the request without hesitation. My Dear had given her $55,000 worth of gifts! She had to make him happy.

Cindy was navigating through the settings. My Dear said that he wanted to take charge alone. Her eyes lingered on Gerald's handle for a moment. Then, she steeled herself and removed Gerald as an admin and replaced him with My Dear.

"All done, My Dear! You're the sole admin now!" said Cindy with a sweet smile after completing the task.

[System message: Another Day was removed as an admin.]

[My Dear is now an admin.]

Half a minute later, two system notifications popped up.

[Flying Fish was unmuted by the admin.]

[Butterflying was unmuted by the admin.]

"I can comment again! Haha! My Dear has a sense of justice! I like him!" David's joy was evident from the wide grin on his face.

David immediately commented.

@Flying Fish: Are you still there, Gerald? Say something!

Ross was still annoyed by what had happened to him minutes ago. He commented as well.

@Butterflying: You said that $55,000 was nothing for you? Well, prove it!

"Thank you so much, My Dear. I'd like to invite you to Ridgeview University. I'll give you a tour of the campus and treat you to a meal!" Cindy blinked her charming eyes.

My Dear typed.

@My Dear: There's no need. It's nothing.

@My Dear: I just want someone to know that it's one thing to be rich, but it's another thing to be a pr*ck about it and demean others. We should respect each other regardless of our financial status!

My Dear's comment resonated with the hearts of many.
