Chapter 68- A PREPARATION

The ball is in eight hours, and I'm sweating and extremely nervous, as I understand how important this event is for the company.

We've invited all the investors, both international and national. Knowing that Mom and Evans—yes, she agreed to come this time—will be here tonight adds even more stress. I nervously rub my hands on the back of my jeans as I walk back into the room, my phone in my hand.
