Chapter 8

Yesterday Sarra, and today Henry.  We were in the living room with Mrs.  Swanson.  Neither of us spoke between us.  While Mrs.  Swanson just kept sobbing.  Her hands kept trying to calling Rooney, Henry's older brother who lives in Chicago, IL, but he's no answer.  Not long after, the sound of a car engine stopped in the yard.  That's Mr.  Swanson.  I saw from the window he came out in a hurry and opened the door without saying anything.  Seeing the arrival of her husband, Mrs.  Swanson stood up and hugged him in tears.

 "Have you asked Rooney?"  asked Mr.  Swanson worried.

 Mrs.  Swanson nodded as she wiped his tears.

 "Then?"

 "Rooney isn't picking up my calls."

 Mr.  Swanson held his head and looked uneasy, "What's the chronology?"  He looked at all of us,
