Two days passed, but Sarra had not been found. The police are still continuing to search. Some of Sarra's friends and those who had contact with her in the last few days before her disappearance were also questioned. We are no exception, her best friends.
I'm still confused. The last day we met was when we worked on a task together and ended by playing a board game Ouija Board with other friends. It's nothing wrong at all.
Classes just start. No one lesson entered my head. As if everything Mrs. Allea is just a passing wind. My mind was filled with the girl's thoughts. Until the lesson ended, I was still thinking about Sarra.
“Beverly!”
I was shocked when Helen snapped right beside my ear, “Oh my God, Helen, what's wrong with you? Can't you speak quietly, I'm not deaf!"
“I have called you many times. But you just sat there daydreaming.”
"Sorry," I said indifferently.
Helen sat on the side and stroked my shoulder, “We are all the same as you. We lost a best friend. But we should continue our live, right? I'm sure, sooner or later, Sarra will be found." she said with a smile.
Helen is right. I can't be like this. It won't help find Sarra. I rubbed my face. Helen took my hand and led me to the canteen. There is no choice at this time but to comply with her wishes. It would be foolish to just sit in class thinking about something that obviously has no end.
We walked down the hall to the canteen. Helen kept on talking, but my brain caught little of her words. The look of sadness and loss was still evident on his face. Helen's eyes were also slightly swollen, she must have been crying for a long time. Her mouth kept talking about all things that are not important. Sometimes she even laughs at her jokes which are not funny at all. It was obvious she was trying to hide her sadness. Every now and then I laugh and smile, even though I honestly have no intention of doing it. For Helen's sake, to make her better.
Our conversation was interrupted when several children suddenly ran towards the bathroom. There must be someone fighting, it's not uncommon for them to be watching and cheering. Helen pulled my hand and asked me to take a look, but I refused and preferred to go to the canteen. There is no point.
"Mark, what's wrong?" Hana asked Mark who was running towards us.
"Henry. He got hurt in the toilet."
Helen and I looked at each other and immediately ran to the men's room. The crowd of students made it difficult for us to see Henry's condition. It looks like Kate came in a hurry with a first aid kit on the accident. Helen who saw that immediately grabbed it without saying anything. What's wrong with her?
Kate just gawked at what my best friend was doing. Helen quickly grabbed my hand and told the crowd of students to get out of the way. It turns out that Helen is quite smart when pressed.
What we saw was truly shocking. There were deep scratch marks on Henry's face and neck. Blood continued to flow down the clothes and the floor. I immediately opened the first aid kit and wiped the blood on his face with a cotton swab. Henry's white uniform had partially changed to red. She kept moaning in pain while leaning against the wall.
The crowd of students suddenly dispersed when a woman's voice ordered them not to gather here. Apparently the owner of the voice was Mrs. Susan. She wanted to take Henry to the hospital, but the boy refused. How hard is Mrs. Susan tried to persuade Henry, but the boy stubbornly refused. Until Mrs. Susan had no choice and gave Henry take off from the class. Henry refused to go home, he chose to wait in the school health room. We escorted Henry to the school health unit room.“What happened to you?” Helen tried to ask.
"Something attack me," Henry said in pain.
"What do you mean something?"
Alex and Kevin approached us. They had just left because they had extra classes and came with us to drop Henry off.
No words were spoken between us. Helen and I together treated Henry's wound. Alex sat on the bed used for laying students. As for Kevin, he sat on the bench near Henry's bed. We were completely lost in each other's thoughts. Only Henry occasionally grimaced in pain when Helen applied antiseptic to his wound.
"What exactly happened to you?" Alex opened the conversation.
“The entity. He attacked me.”
"What entity?" asked Alex.
“What a terrifying entity.” Henry's lips trembled. “His eyes were burning red. Small holes were all over my face, making me feel scared and nauseous."
A tear fell from his eye. Neither of us took our eyes off him. Alex got out of bed.
"Hey, Buddy. Are you okay?" Kevin grabbed his shoulder.
He remained silent with trembling lips.
'BRAKK!'
"How is the condition?"
The door is open by Mrs. Susan. We stayed silent, let her to see how Henry was doing.
"You all do better go back to class because class has started. Let him rest!"
We cheered him on and made sure he was okay before we left. I'm honestly not sure that would make it any better. Seeing him staring blankly ahead make me worry about him. I'm not sure he'll be all right. I want to pick him up to go home.
During the last lesson, my mind was restless and I often looked outside. The clock on the wall above the blackboard seemed to walk slowly or not at all. One minute feels like an hour. Looking at Helen, apparently she felt the same way. We speak with code eyes.
The bell ringing mean it was time to go home. Helen and I quickly packed up our books and laptops, then ran to the school health unit room with the others. But no one was there. I thought Henry had gone home first and left his bag which is now in Kevin's hands.
Kevin took the initiative to ask Mr. Marco, a school caretaker, remembers that Mrs. Susan told him to keep Henry. Meanwhile me, Helen and Alex waited in the parking lot.
We waited a long time, finally Kevin came too. He said that when Mr. Marco arrived in the room there was no one in the room. He thought that Henry was back in class. Of course that made us even more worried.
Helen tries to call him, but Henry's cell phone is in Kevin's bag. There was no other way, to make sure he was okay we had to go to his house. I immediately called my mom and said I would be home late today.
Mrs. Swanson was seen watering the flower plants in his yard. Helen and I got out of the car, followed by Kevin and Alex who were in different cars.
Mrs. Swanson seemed a little taken aback by our arrival. The women smiled and greeted warmly.
"Hi, Mrs. Swanson," said Sarra with a smile.
"Hi, Sweetheart. How are you?”
"I'm good. How about you?"
"Fine, thanks"
Mrs. Swanson looking around between us.
“Hey, what made you guys come here and where is Henry?”
We looked at each other.
“Actually we came here to ask about Henry. We thought he was home," Kevin said.
"What? Nope. He's not home yet."
We looked at each other again with a worried look.
"What's going on?" Mrs. Swanson looked worried.
Of course. Which mother is not worry to see the arrival of her child's friends who have just returned from school. Even though their own kids is not home yet.
Kevin nervously tried to explain, “Henry was found injured in the bathroom. He has been treated but we left him alone in the school health unit room because we have class. But when we got back to the room, Henry wasn't there."
"WHAT?!"
Yesterday Sarra, and today Henry. We were in the living room with Mrs. Swanson. Neither of us spoke between us. While Mrs. Swanson just kept sobbing. Her hands kept trying to calling Rooney, Henry's older brother who lives in Chicago, IL, but he's no answer. Not long after, the sound of a car engine stopped in the yard. That's Mr. Swanson. I saw from the window he came out in a hurry and opened the door without saying anything. Seeing the arrival of her husband, Mrs. Swanson stood up and hugged him in tears. "Have you asked Rooney?" asked Mr. Swanson worried. Mrs. Swanson nodded as she wiped his tears. "Then?" "Rooney isn't picking up my calls." Mr. Swanson held his head and looked uneasy, "What's the chronology?" He looked at all of us, Kevin tried to explain and Edward continued the story from Kevi
The sound of the alarm filled the room with posters of international basketball players. A boy who was fast asleep was disturbed and covered his ears with a pillow. Feeling that he could still hear the sound of the alarm, he turned it off and went back to sleep with the blanket covering his entire body. 'Knock-Tock' "Henry, wake up! You have to go to school,” said a woman from outside. The boy who was called Henry just stared at his body without intending to get up. 'Brak-Brak-Brak' Now it wasn't a knock, it was a buzz. "HENRY! WAKE UP!" "I'm awake," he said lazily. Henry sat on the bed with a big yawn. Deeply wishing it was Sunday. Unfortunately, it's Wednesday. There were still three more days to pass before the day of independence from school came for him. He got out of bed and took the towel behind the door.
I put the book in the locker. The first lesson has ended. Helen's science presentation ended badly. She broke one very large test tube in the science lab and had to replace it."Dad will be very angry to me," she said, putting her laptop in the her locker.I just laughing in response. It's actually is bad attitude to laugh at people who are unlucky. Oh, but I can't hold it. I don't know what she will tell to her father for replace the test tube or maybe she will drain her savings. We walked together up the stairs. Execute the plans we have made. When we reached the 3rd floor we met Mr. Jody. He was one of the staff manning the security camera room. It's good!Mr. Jody is very friendly men. He was in his thirties and wore glasses. Helen knew the man as well. When we met we said we wanted to go to the library. Helen tried to distract with Mr. &n
"Beverly, what are you doing?"I was sitting in class at that time, was surprised when Helen came by hitting the table."Doing what?""You told Mr. Stuart that I was celebrating my anniversary with my boyfriend. You said I'd treat him for food too."Helen took a seat and held her head, "What the hell, Beverly? You know I don't have a boyfriend and Mr. Stuart got a big burger and juice. I've run out of money to feed those two idiots."I let Helen said whatever she likes. She sat down with a shaky breath. I grabbed my wallet, pulled out a $200 bill and tucked it into the bag in front of him. Helen looked at me with a surprised look."This is to replace the money you spent treating two stupid humans."Helen sighed again, "Thanks."Mommy picked me up early at school, so I can't give the tape to Helen right now. I said I'd give it to you tonight.Sometime
Kevin see Beverly and Helen left together leaving the class after the lesson ended. He take a cellphone and pressed the power button. After that typing a text message and send it to Alex. [Beverly and Helen Leave the Class.] [I am ready.] Reply Alex. Kevin put all books and writing equipment into the bag. He immediately passed after Alex in another class. Sure enough, Alex was waiting there. Lean on the right of the class door. "You're so long time." "Whatever. Let's do our plans." "Who should we meet first?" "Jony," Kevin said, staring at Alex. They went into Jony's class, but there was no one there. "Hi, guys. What are you looking for?" A girl with brown hair stand behind them with a book in her hand. "Oh. Hi, Brenda. Do you know where is Jony?" Alex asked. "I don't know. Maybe in the Hall School." "Oh, okay. We will see him in there. Thank you." "Okay." They go
I put the books in the locker. Helen was going to Mrs. Anne's room to pay for the mess she made yesterday at biology laboratory. 'Ting' A W******p message from Alex come into my phone. [Where do you right now?] [In my room.] [Kevin and me in the canteen. Can we meet?] [Sure.] Helen hadn't come back yet when I finished staring at the book. Alright, I'll wait in front of the teacher's room. Hopefully she doesn't get any more punishment than having to replace the test tube. The teacher's room is on the first floor. Close to the school grounds. I go down the stairs and met some other students. We say 'hi' each other. There is a long seat in front of the teacher's room. Great place to wait while watching some male students play basketball. After a few minutes, she finally came out. Her face looked unenthusiastic. "Alright, I have been lost my money."
I walking on a quiet road. The lights are on along the way. But because the light is a little dim, it cannot illuminate to the maximum. Can be said some parts of the road still look dark. Some cars seemed to occur in their own neighbor's homes. There is no one who passes other than me. I can just be faster by riding a bicycle. Unfortunately, now it doesn't have it. Daddy refused to take my bicycle from the old house. He said that later he would buy a new one. So I was forced to sell it in the garage sale before leaving. It's cold enough tonight. The wind blew quite hard. Abort leaves from the tree. Even though I was wearing a coat, I can still feel cold wind on my skin.Wait!I feel someone follows me. I stopped and looked back. There is no anyone in here. Some places also look dark. I credge if you imagine someone or something is hiding in a dark part or behind the tree. Whether right or just my feelings, hopefully it's wrong. Don't want too long on a quiet street, I
I lazily descended the stairs. My hair is very messy but I don't want to comb it. The delicious smell of fried bacon wafted in the kitchen. Mommy who was frying bacon was neatly dressed. Daddy is also eating pancakes and ready to go to work. I sat and yawned next to him."Good morning, Mom, Dad." I greeted."Good morning," answered Daddy."Good morning, Honey. Hey, why aren't you ready to go to school. You're going to be late, honey?" Mommy asked."Mom, can I not go to school today?""Why?" asked Daddy."I'll go to Illinois today with my friends.""Why are you going to Illinois?" Mommy asked, pouring coffee into Dad's glass."We will go to find out where Henry is at Rooney's apartment.""Honey, we know you really care about your friends and what you do is a good thing. But you should study at school. Let the police handle this
