Mara's POV

I felt a shiver run down my spine as the summoning echoed in my mind. Something about it didn’t sit right with me.

Something was wrong!

I didn't know how I could tell but I felt it, my wolf growled within but that was it.

I couldn't place what was wrong someone had done something, that wasn't a coincidence.

Ethan noticed my unease and gently helped me to my feet.

"I think that is enough training for today maybe you should rest"

I couldn't speak so I just nodded my head then he helped me and led me back to the room. My heart pounded with worry as we approached the door, and I could hear Dahlia pacing inside.

As soon as we entered, Dahlia rushed to me, her face etched with concern. “Mara, what happened? You look pale.”

I tried to muster a reassuring smile. “I’m fine, Dahlia. It’s just...”

"What? Ethan what did you do?" Dahlia asked the sides of her face turned down to a frown.

"No no he didn't do anything we were training and then I felt strange" I tried explaining.
