Fynn's POV:

Finally, the idiot took the first right decision of his life, and I noticed him walking out of the corridor.

And with Asher gone, the crowd began to disperse slowly, and I finally started to feel some relief. That was, of course, until Gemini came charging back in.

Her usually ugly face was twisted into an even worse expression, if that was even possible.

Thankfully, she steered clear of me and avoided going anywhere near Vienna either, and marched right up to her mother instead.

"Mum! Let’s go home! I am so upset… so, so, so upset that I can't even explain, I can't understand how this bitch can ruin my day and my happiness even when she isn't in her senses…! Anyways, just take me home. I don’t want to stay here… I don't want to be anywhere where she is!”

She demanded, stomping her foot like a toddler who had been denied a candy bar, and of course it was the entire world's fault.

I let out a smirk, getting annoyed with her actions.

Sulkingly, she looked at V

Fynn's POV:My wolf was growing more restless by the second, his agitation bleeding into my own thoughts. He was already upset that my human, rational and logical brain had been suppressing his calls since this morning, and now, I could feel his rage, his sorrow, his desperation for her safety…I clenched my fists, trying to keep myself grounded. “Why isn’t she waking up yet?” I asked, my voice was harsher than I intended. My worry was rising steadily, and I needed answers now.The doctor adjusted his glasses, before inspecting the half-full IV bottle hanging by the bedside."She won't wake up until the dose of medication has had its effect, which might take some more time. This bottle should be empty in about fifteen minutes. Hopefully she will regain her consciousness by then, and we won't have to worry anymore–”“Finally!! Thank the Moon goddess!!”“But–”“But what Doctor?”“But there is a chance that she won't wake up by then, and if she doesn’t, please inform us immediately… it

Fynn's POV:“I kept lying to myself, ignoring everything and convincing myself that it was nothing. If I hadn’t been so stubborn, and instead tried to listen to what my wolf was trying to tell me, then… maybe I could’ve helped you sooner. Kai was sick, but I could have come to you, and you would have gotten help, either way.”I shook my head, feeling the familiar frustration rising again. “Kai was right. We can’t leave you with those horrible, heartless creatures. I don’t know how this will end either, but whatever the future is! Whatever the outcome of this whole thing is going to be… if you want to have only Kai, even then, I won't hold any grudges against you or him. But I can protect you, right? Let me protect you. No matter what happens, no matter what you decide… I swear to myself, I will always protect you, no matter what.” “After all, the Moon Goddess has ordained you to my brother,” I continued softly, my thumb brushing over her cold knuckles. “And you will always remain

  • Oops! My Twin Mates are my Professors   Werewolf Council

Author's POV: The Werewolf Council was called at the old palace, from where the supreme alphas used to live and rule, many centuries ago… before the packs had been broken up into smaller divisions, which had adopted different names, insignia and loyalties over time. The post of the Supreme Alpha still existed today, the one who governed all the packs of that region. However, the Alphas didn't live in that palace anymore; and the Council had been set up to represent and resolve the issues of the various packs. However, the topic of discussion for this meeting was not the problems faced by the packs, or the conflicts they were facing. Rather, the usual talks of diplomacy had been replaced by gossip, and all pretense of business had been abandoned long ago. Instead, the whole hall was trading whispers and gossip about the Obsidian Pack, specifically about Vienna Belmont, the Beta’s daughter, who had been rushed to the hospital in critical condition. And shockingly, Asher Blackwood, s

Author's POV:“I didn’t expect you to be so emasculated by your wife! Have you become completely blind, or say, completely turned your eyes away from your first born!!! Tell me, Orion, have you handed over your brain to keep it in her pocket, along with your balls!?”Orion felt the color of shame painting his cheeks again, but the person continued to rail against him, severely offended on behalf of Vienna. “But while you might not like your daughter, she is going to be my future daughter in- law, and I will defend her no matter what." All heads turned to the source of the voice, and to Orion’s utter shock and embarrassment, it was none other than Alpha Darius Blackwood. The Alpha of the Obsidian back was standing, tall and commanding, his gaze challenging the members of the council to speak up and find out the gruesome and potentially deadly consequences of that! It was enough to silence even the boldest and most talkative wolves with the implication of his words. Future daughte

  • Oops! My Twin Mates are my Professors   Father's love

Fynn's POV:The room was filled with the faint beeps of machines and the rustle of uniforms. I stayed at the back of the room, my back pressed to the wall and my teeth gnashing against my nails, a bad habit from my childhood that had just returned somehow. The nurses hovered around Vienna, poking and prodding her pale skin with needles and tested her responses… all while I stood there, barely holding myself together. Each jab felt like it was aimed straight at my heart, and I hated every second of it. When they finally left and the doctor gave his orders before Vienna slipped back into deep sleep, I let out an exhale. Only then, did I approach her bedside once again. But before I could say a word, the door burst open, and an all-too-familiar scent filled the room, followed by a growl of outrage. “What the hell are you doing here, you bastard!” Vienna's father thundered, his voice echoing in the confined space. I turned slowly, meeting his furious gaze. His hackles were raised,

  • Oops! My Twin Mates are my Professors   Beta's daughter

Author's POV:“Be careful dear! You, come here! Help Miss Vienna to her room, can't you see she's become so frail! Handle my daughter gently…”Vienna was dimly aware of being grabbed by two hesitant servants, who gently pulled her from her father’s embrace. They started guiding her up the staircase, one step at a time, their movements careful after the stern warning they had just received from the master. Her head swam and she tried to keep herself upright, although her senses were still dull and foggy from the medications that had been administered, before she was discharged from the hospital. The doctors had sent her home with a stack of supplements and instructions to maintain a proper diet, and so on… after which her father had lovingly guided her into the house once again, without ever speaking a harsh word, or even raising his voice above a soothing murmur.“Go on, dear…” Orion called softly from behind. His tone was uncharacteristically tender, even though Vienna had alread

Author's POV:“All I care about is that she is getting food inside her stomach and I'm allowing you to do whatever you feel is necessary! Just make sure her stomach isn’t empty, and that there is no possibility for anyone to say that a girl raised in the household of a Beta lacks anything in life just because her mother is not alive, and because I'm so blind that I can't serve justice between both my daughters." Tessa's jaw was basically hanging open in astonishment and shock, seeing her husband in such rare form. But the mockery and humiliation of the council meeting had left such deep scars in Orion's mind that he didn't stop, not when he was finally getting the chance to veny out his frustration. “For so many years, I have handed you the management of my household with complete blind faith, Tessa! So it's about time you fulfill the duties of that role and stop giving me reasons to be upset!” He paused for a moment, as if giving her the chance to process his words, before picki

Vienna's POV:Slowly, I peeled my eyes open, struggling against the drowsiness which had injected itself into every cell of my body. There was a dull ache in my head, but a warm, heavy hand rested on my forehead, helping with the pain. Groggy and disoriented, I turned my head slightly to the side, only to find my father’s face hovering near my bedside. The shocking sight made me jolt up in shock, despite the soreness in my body, I pushed myself to sit up, my voice cracking as I stammered, “What happened… I'm– where am I? What happened?” “Nothing, my dear… go easy on yourself.” My father said softly, adjusting the pillows behind me before sitting back in his place. “I’m here to take care of you, okay? Just eat.” He picked up a bowl of lukewarm soup from the bedside table, and brought a spoonful to my lips. I stared at him, unsure whether to obey, or recoil from this demon who had clearly stolen the face and likeness of my father to trick me into some kind of trap. Because at

Vienna's POV:I could feel the tension in the air; and the awkwardness was thick enough to choke on, as Orion stammered, his voice barely above a whisper. "What... what are you saying... about Vienna?" Before I could respond, Tessa’s voice cut through the silence, dripping with frustration. “Gemini isn’t your daughter, you thick-headed fool!” “So stop thinking of ways to get her killed and beg Vienna to save her life. Or I won’t let you take a single breath in peace! I’ve done all this, planned all of this… just for my daughter’s sake! And I’m definitely not going to leave her fate in your hands, so that you can risk her life in a Blood Auction.” Tessa was definitely scared out of her wits, since she had gone from pleading with Orion to threatening him within minutes. And Orion didn’t seem to know what to make of it. He stared blankly at Tessa for a moment, still scrambling for some form of clarity, his voice shaky. “Vi… Vienna is my daughter… and not Gemini…” That was thw

  • Oops! My Twin Mates are my Professors   Blood Auction

Author's POV:Tessa had been lurking in the shadows, listening intently to every word. She knew better than to step forward too soon, knowing that if she revealed herself in the middle of the conversation, it would only increase the bitterness in Vienna’s, making any chance of negotiation impossible. So she has been hiding herself behind the pillars, making sure that she was hidden from every eye present in the room; while at the same time she was able to hear everything that was going on between the people standing in front of her eyes.Normally, she relished watching Vienna suffer, but this time, the stakes were too high. She couldn’t afford to let Gemini bear the consequences. But then Orion—foolish, impulsive Orion—had gone and destroyed everything. The moment he spat out that Vienna wasn’t his real daughter, he had severed the last thread of control they had. He had stripped himself of any authority over her, giving her the perfect excuse to bring their family’s dirty secrets

  • Oops! My Twin Mates are my Professors   Sisterly Jealousy

Vienna's POV:Once the words left my mouth, Orion’s entire demeanor shifted. I didn't even want to refer to him as my father from now on, and my words had already made it clear to him.His expression hardened, but his tone became suddenly gentle, almost fatherly and affectionate. If didn’t know better, I would’ve thought he was genuinely concerned, but I had been burned by this syrup too many times. “What are you saying, Vienna? How can you drag your sister to the Law Tribunal? The Council has been assembled to deal with matters of actual seriousness and significance between packs, not trivial family matters and… sisterly jealousy.”He scoffed, as if recalling some fond memories between us, which were never there to begin with. "I know you have always been jealous of your little sister, but think properly, look closely…all she has ever done was to think about your well being and has always supported you in your good or bad decisions, she was even ready let go of her first love, jus

  • Oops! My Twin Mates are my Professors   Stay away!!

Author's POV:Vienna's idea about her family was indeed right. This idea was not built on the mere foundation of her assumption, instead it was based on her experience. And the ideas built on experiences rarely tended to be wrong, just like this one… the reality was exactly matching every single detail according to her thoughts.Because right now, Orion was sitting in the comfort of his grand mansion, his fingers tapping impatiently against the armrest of his chair. And if he wasn't forced to pretend that he cared for Vienna, his older daughter who was supposed to return with Asher, the future Alpha of the Pack, he wouldn't even have been here. He would have utilised this free time to sleep in peace, after celebrating his unfilial daughter having vanished into thin air, to never show her face ever again.Beside him, Alpha Blackwood sipped his drink with ease, though his eyes flickered toward the door every few moments. He wasn't ready to miss even a single percent of possibility of

Vienna's POV:The doctor unfastened the blood pressure monitor strap from my arm. As I looked up at him, he assured me calmly. “Everything looks normal. Your heart rate was elevated, but that’s just from the shock. Just relax, there is nothing to be worried about, you should be fine now.” I exhaled slowly, trying to steady myself as I replied with a small smile of my own. I didn't want to leave the doctor’s effort unnoticed while my words had decided that they still needed some time to jump out of my throat, using my mouth. However, even though Kai and Fynn were right by my bedside, neither of them was really paying attention to the doctor. Instead, they were busy arguing amongst themselves, in a hushed tone to maintain the decorum of the hospital. “This is the result of our complacency,” Kai snapped. “That bastard had the guts to walk into a goddamn hospital and kidnap Vienna. If we let this slide, what’s next? They’ll march into our territory and claim it as theirs? We should

Author's POV:Tessa sat on the edge of the couch, her fingers fumbling with the hem of her dress. She had finally been convinced to drop her go bag from her; although she still wasn't sure how she had been roped into Gemini’s plan. This girl had a way to convince her to take part even in her unrealistic plans, and today was proof of it. Because even though she hadn't returned her jewels to their real compartments and boxes, she had at least placed the packed bag inside her wardrobe. And now, both mother and daughter were sitting together, working out a story which they needed to tell Orion as proof of Gemini's innocence– the story of the last conversation between Gemini and Vienna. "You'll say it like this," Gemini instructed. "Vienna was going to run away, and I tried to stop her. I was just looking out for her because I didn't want her to make a mistake that would ruin her life. So, I did whatever I needed to do, to keep her from running off."Tessa glanced at her daughter, fro

Author's POV:Asher's body stiffened in shock as he heard Fynn's voice ring through the alley. His heart skipped a beat, surprised that they had found them. After the fight he was sure that they would need months to recover from the physical injuries and for the mental one, they might take few more lifetimes to face Vienna again, and even after he was sure about them never appearing in front of him or Vienna ever again, he was still so cautious about keeping her away from them at any cost. And this is why he had made sure to bring Vienna just outside the pack borders, far enough from any tracking signals, believing he had covered all his bases. He thought he'd be able to isolate her, convince her that he was the only one who truly cared for her. But now, this—Fynn’s voice echoing through the damp night air.Ruining his plans! Vienna's POV:I couldn’t believe what was happening. One moment, I was walking calmly through the night, and the next, I found myself pressed against something cold and damp, a wetness seeping through my clothes. The burning, acrid smell of smoke invaded my senses, making my stomach churn. My head spun as nausea threatened to overwhelm me. I tried to take a breath, but it felt impossible, like the air had been sucked out of the space around me. My body tensed as I fought to keep my composure, but it wasn’t enough. I was on the verge of throwing up when I saw him—Asher. He stepped into view, his grin wide and unsettling, I felt the feeling of uneasiness growing stronger in my chest. As my heart pounded in my chest, and even though I wanted to , I couldn’t look away from him. With his left hand still buried in his pocket, he made a sweeping gesture with two fingers, and just like that, the thing that had been holding me released its grip. I gasped for air, sucking it in greedily, my

Vienna's POV:I watched them with growing concern, my hands gripping the sheets tightly. But I didn’t even know who I was worried about? Because the two people who matter the most for me were fighting with someone who has never been fair to anyone in any dynamic, but the reason for my fear was sounding logical and illogical at the same time. Was it the fear for Fynn and Kai, that my heart was unable to beat properly the moment they stepped in front of Asher or was I afraid for myself? My protection? That they might not be able to handle so many opponents at once? No, of course not. They were strong, stronger than anyone I had ever met. I had no doubt they could protect me against anything, against anyone.Or was it for Asher? That he was stupid enough to challenge two Alpha wolves who were older and more experienced than him, without knowing their true power? Maybe. Because I wanted nothing to do with him anymore, but that didn’t mean I wanted him dead. He was reckless, arrogant, an
