"Cara Mia, fighting this won’t help. You were made for us..." Kai’s fingers cupped her cheek, one hand sliding up her thigh as he stepped closer. His fingers trailed down her arm, leaving goosebumps on her skin. She gasped softly, but before she could answer, Fynn’s strong hands snaked around her waist, pulling her back into his hard chest. His lips were hot against her neck, making her weak in the knees. “You feel it too, don’t you?” Vienna’s heart pounded as the bond snapped into place- once, then twice. Its force was undeniable, overwhelming– pulling her in two different directions. “Two mates? That’s impossible!” “How can she survive loving them both?” “She’ll be torn apart, no werewolf can survive this!” She stood between the twin Alphas, unsure of what to do next. What kind of existence was she cursed to? “You belong to us, Vienna! And we won’t let you go.” **** Vienna’s world was already shattered when she caught her boyfriend, Asher, with her stepsister on her 21st birthday—the day she hoped the Moon Goddess would reveal Asher as her true mate! Desperate to reclaim control, she kisses a stranger in a reckless act of revenge. Only to find out that not only is her mysterious kisser her new professor, but he also has an identical twin! The initial betrayal and chaos pales in comparison to the storm Vienna has stepped into. Why has Vienna been fated to two men instead of one? What secrets do these twins come with? And why has she never been able to communicate with her wolf? Could the answer to everything lie in the bond between her and her two destined mates…? “Happy birthday! When are you going to cut the cake?”
A cheerful voice broke through the noise, and I looked up to find a girl standing in front of me. Her face was vaguely familiar, but I couldn’t remember her name.
"Thanks," I gave her a quick smile. “I’m just waiting for Asher.”
“So when will he be back?”
“Umm! Wait, let me look for him. He told me he'll be back by now.”
“Okay, enjoy your birthday!"
The girl adjusted her glasses and smiled at me. I slipped past the crowd, stepping out into the corridor.
Asher was my boyfriend, the one who had organized this whole party. All thanks to him, our college cafeteria looked completely unrecognizable, and half the student body was here to celebrate my birthday.
But even though everyone else seemed to be having fun, my eyes were searching for him.
Where was he…?
The noise of the party faded behind me as I walked past a classroom next to the cafeteria, towards the basketball ground.
My feet paused when I heard Asher's laughter coming from the classroom. I frowned, hearing another voice I knew too well.
"It's her birthday today, isn't it?"
The playful voice belonged to Gemini, my step-sister.
I inched closer to the door, trying to hear what they had been planning for my surprise.
“Mm… yes! That’s why I’m planning such a huge surprise for her."
Asher’s tone was light, and I felt a warm smile spread across my face. He was the best boyfriend anyone could have, and here I was, ruining his surprise by eavesdropping… that's not good.
I turned to leave, ready to head back to the party.
But then, I heard it.
Soft moaning and the wet smacking of lips, followed by the faint rustle of clothing. My stomach twisted into knots as the awful realization hit me, sending a dreadful chill up my spine.
No… no, that couldn’t be what I thought it was. Not Asher.
I turned back toward the door, my heartbeat thundering in my ears. I had to be wrong. I had to be misunderstanding the situation, right?
Gemini’s voice came again, teasing and seductive.
"Have you forgotten that you have a girlfriend? And yet, you're here with me…”
My blood turned into ice in my veins.
“Oh, I remember her all too well. But you, babe! You're just irresistible. Tell me, which man wants to think about musty old mashed potatoes, when a snack like you is in front of him? Right now, you are the one I want, not that stuck-up sister of yours!”
"Step-sister…"
“Yeah, yeah! Step-sister, half-sister, whatever! I just know that she isn’t even half as sexy as you are, and she doesn't drive me half as wild as you do. Now will you kiss me already?”
No. No, no, no.
I couldn’t stop myself. My hand was on the doorknob before I even realized it, and the door went flying, slamming against the wall.
There they were… Asher and Gemini, locked into a kiss. She was moaning shamelessly into his mouth while his hands were all over her ass, pressing her against himself.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!"
I shouted, my voice shaking with rage.
Asher let go of her, running a hand through his disheveled hair.
“Oh, come on, Vi—”
But before he could say anything else, Gemini slithered over like the snake she was, her face smug.
“Why, don’t you know what’s going on? Haven’t your stupid books taught you anything?”
She flashed her teeth, mocking me. “Well, then let me tell you, it’s called making out—”
Before she could finish her sentence, I snapped. My hand flew through the air, and the sharp sound of my slap echoed in the empty classroom– leaving a red imprint on her cheek.
“How dare you, Gemini! I knew you always wanted to compete with me, but I never thought you'd actually sink so low.”
Asher moved between us at the speed of light, pulling Gemini behind himself in a protective gesture.
He still had the nerve to defend her?
“What nonsense is this?”
He demanded, his voice now tinged with irritation.
“Nonsense? You’re the one cheating on me—”
Asher let out a mocking laugh, cutting me off.
“Oh, please! You think this is cheating?”
I blinked, stunned.
“What else would you call it?”
“No, sweetie, you are confused. This isn't cheating! After all, I’m gonna become the Alpha once we graduate college, and you’ll be my official mate. Can't you see, this is all the time I have left!”
“Time? Time for what!”
Asher shrugged, and replied in a blank tone.
“To enjoy myself, what else? I won't get time for fun after I become an Alpha. So just calm down and go back to your party, what you just saw is nothing more than a small distraction for me. And don't worry, you will still get to keep your position as my Luna… if you just tame your habit of running your mouth at inconvenient times– like this.”
The fury I felt in that moment was blinding.
“Go to hell! We are done, Asher Blackwood!”
I simply turned on my heels and stormed out into the corridor, only to find a whole crowd outside the classroom.
Apparently, everyone had left the party in the cafeteria and gathered out here to witness my personal humiliation.
“Wait! Vienna—”
Asher’s voice cut through the murmurs, and I felt his hand grab my wrist, forcing me to stop.
“No, Asher.”
I pulled my hand free as I turned to face him, keeping my voice as calm as I could.
“I can't be with you when you clearly don't respect me. I don't care whether you think it’s cheating or not, but I can’t tolerate it. So just let me go—”
Asher spoke over me, his tone turning ice-cold.
“Wait, you think I was going to ask you to stay?”
There was a cold glint in his eyes, making me realize that this couldn't be the boy I loved… he can't be so cruel, can he?
“Were you really expecting me to beg you to stay, Vienna? I was just stopping you to say that you need to apologize to Gemini. But you’re too delusional! We have been together for three years, but you are too much of a nerd to let me touch you even once. So what was I supposed to do, wait around for your precious vow of chastity to break? If you can't understand such a simple fact, then forget it! We are not compatible at all.”
My cheeks burned, bright red with embarrassment. I had actually expected him to apologize—how foolish of me. Asher was nothing more than a pathetic scum.
Without thinking, I slapped him hard across the face.
“You can burn in hell for all I care, Asher! But I will never apologize to either of you. Not even if Hades himself commands it.”
My anger flared to new heights.
“With Moon Goddess as my witness, I, Vienna Belmont, reject you– Asher Blackwood– as my mate!”
Asher’s mouth opened like he was about to say something, but I didn’t give him the chance.
“And since you’re so obsessed with the fact that I didn’t sleep with you, let me fix that right now, as a last favor to you!”
I screamed.
“I’ll kiss the next guy who walks through those doors, and you can watch!”
I announced, pointing to the double doors at the far end of the hallway, not thinking anything of it.
I could hear gasps and murmurs from the students around us; and just as if the universe had decided to play along as the Director of the stage production of this drama, the doors swung open.
Suddenly, tall figure appeared, silhouetted against the bright afternoon sunlight.
He stepped inside, a stranger—dressed in a crisp shirt, formal pants, and tie. I marched straight up to him.
“Sorry,” I whispered quickly, barely giving him time to process my words before hooking my hand around his tie and pulling him into a kiss.
My lips grazed against his soft lips, his breath warm against mine– but now wasn't the time to be afraid. I blocked out all the noise and thoughts, and kissed him passionately, right in front of everyone… right in front of Asher.
‘After all, I have to make sure that the cheating scum sees every second of it.’
The stranger's hands hovered around my waist, unsure; but thankfully, he didn’t push me away.
When I finally broke the kiss and pulled away, the guy was looking at me, surprise carved into his features. Instead of saying anything, he just stared at my face like he was still trying to process what had just happened.
But there was no time for apologies and explanations. Right then, the bell rang sharply in the corridor, announcing the end of the break.
My breath was still uneven as I stepped back and turned on my heel.
I kept walking, not looking back.
Vienna's POV:Ever since Zeke had left with Lola, the house had felt quieter, but it wasn’t entirely empty. And I couldn't get even a moment of peace!Fynn had been popping in at all odd hours, asking the most innocent questions imaginable."Did you eat yet?""Need anything from town?""Want me to fix that squeaky cabinet upstairs?"At first, I thought he was just being sweet. Then I caught on. He was nervous, trying to distract me, or maybe himself, from the ache of not having Zeke around. I didn’t call him out on it. In fact, I found it adorable how he thought he was being subtle. Each time he walked in with a fake casual tone and that crooked smile, I just bit my lip to keep from laughing.Today was no different. I’d curled up on the couch with a book, letting the stillness settle around me like a warm blanket. I had just reached the best part when I heard a soft knock at my door. Without glancing up, I called, “Fynn, I’m feeling—”But when I looked, he wasn’t there.Instead, rest
Author's POV:The late morning sun spilled across the balcony, casting golden light on the worn wooden planks as Vienna stood with a steaming mug in her hand. She leaned against the railing, her eyes fixed on the scene below with a smile tugging at her lips.Down in the garden, Kai was running barefoot through the grass, laughing breathlessly as he held little Zeke in his arms. The toddler's giggles rang out like music, loud and unrestrained. Close behind, Fynn—his silver-grey wolf form sleek and agile—bounded after them, playfully nipping at Kai’s ankles. Each gentle snap of his jaws sent Zeke into fresh peals of laughter, his tiny hands waving in the air.Beside Vienna, Lola sipped her own coffee, her expression thoughtful but soft. “You know,” she said, her voice low, “I wasn’t sure, at first. About the whole ‘two mates’ thing. After what my life was before… I didn’t think I could ever feel safe. Let alone happy.”Vienna turned toward her, her smile widening. “I get it,” she said.
Vienna's POV:"Fuck, Enna! My Luna! Ah… you're getting so good.”He groaned as I released him with a pop and then took him into my mouth slowly, savoring the weight and heat of him. I bobbed my head, swirling my tongue along his length. His hips twitched, his breathing turning harsher as I hollowed out my cheeks. But he held back, letting me set the pace."That's it…" He praised, his voice strained. "You're perfect. So fucking perfect."Every word of praise shedding from Kai’a mouth was only making me wetter, needier, the ache between my legs growing with every second.Kai Kai tangled his hands in my hair and pulled me off him slowly, with a trembling hand, his chest was heaving, his eyes dark and desperate… his cock glistening with my spit. I whined, but before that, he wiped my mouth tenderly with his thumb. He kissed me fiercely, tasting himself on my tongue. Then he flipped me over onto my hands and knees, his hands rough and possessive as they skimmed down my sides.“Shh, En
The front door creaked open with a low groan, a gust of warm air stirring the quiet of the bedroom. I barely stirred, sprawled across the rumpled sheets, my body still humming from everything Fynn had given me.Heavy footsteps approached, and I knew before I even looked that it was Kai.I turned my head lazily, peeking at him through my lashes. He stood at the door, jacket half-off, his eyes locked on me—and the look in them made my breath catch.Kai was usually controlled, always steady. But right now? There was nothing steady about the way he devoured me with his gaze.Behind him, I caught a glimpse of Fynn slipping on his hoodie, tossing Kai a wicked wink."Zeke’s probably tackled the babysitter by now. Better rescue him."Kai chuckled low, and Fynn disappeared, the front door clicking softly behind him.Suddenly, it was just the two of us.And the air... it felt thicker.Kai’s eyes raked over me slowly, deliberately. His gaze was heat and hunger and something deeper, something tha
Vienna's POV:Fynn’s arms tightened around me, one under my thighs, the other supporting my back, lifting me and holding me tight against his chest."Come here," he murmured against my temple, his voice low and rough. He carried me through the hallway, his steps slow and deliberate, as if he was enjoying the weight of having me in his arms. I nestled closer to him, my heart pounding against his chest, feeling the strong pulse of his heartbeat against my cheek. The bedroom door creaked open under his foot and he walked us in without breaking stride. He set me down at the edge of the bed, his hands staying at my waist a second longer, his fingers brushing the hem of my tank top.I looked up at him through my lashes, my pulse a steady drumbeat in my ears.Fynn leaned down, pressing a kiss to my belly button, tickling me. His lips stamped a kiss to my forehead, then to my nose, and finally to my lips, each one slower, deeper, stripping away my defenses piece by piece."I can't get over h
Vienna's POV:The morning sun spilled like warm honey across the kitchen floor, soft and golden. I stood at the window, my fingers wrapped around a mug of coffee, watching the world come back to life outside. Fifteen days. It still amazed me how much could change in just fifteen days.We were healing. Slowly, imperfectly, but healing nonetheless.Behind me, the sound of tiny feet slapping against the wooden floor made me smile. Zeke bounded toward me, arms stretched out, his little voice chiming, "Mama, ready! I ready!"I crouched down to scoop him into my arms, inhaling the sweet scent of his shampoo. He smelled like sunshine and safety—like the future we almost lost but somehow managed to keep.Fynn walked into the room next, yawning as he scrubbed a hand through his messy hair. Kai wasn’t far behind him, slipping an arm lazily around my waist as he pressed a kiss to the side of my head."You look too good for someone who barely slept," Kai murmured, his voice still rough with sleep
Kai's POV:Vienna was boneless between us, her breathing shallow and uneven, tiny shivers running down her body even though the room was warm.I cupped her cheeks gently, tipping her face toward mine."You okay, little flame?" I asked softly, my voice barely more than a whisper. She gave the faintest nod, her lips parted, eyes glassy with exhaustion and leftover tears. "Mhm... just... floating," she mumbled.Fynn chuckled low against her ear. "You were perfect, baby."He cradled her against his chest like she was something breakable, pressing soft kisses into her hair while I slid off the bed to grab a clean cloth and a bottle of water from the nightstand. When I came back, Vienna was watching me with heavy-lidded eyes, a small, sleepy smile tugging at her mouth. She looked wrecked and beautiful."Let me take care of you," I murmured, kneeling beside the bed.I cleaned her carefully, gently wiping away the mess on her stomach, moving slow enough that she could tell she was safe. She f
Kai's POV:I stared down at her, sprawled out on the bed like some fever-dream vision. Her hair mussed, lips swollen, body trembling, tears still clinging to her lashes. Our little flame, flickering between ruin and bloom.Fynn stood frozen at the foot of the bed, his fists clenched like he was fighting himself not to just take. She arched her back slightly, needy, desperate. “Please,” she whispered, voice breaking apart into shards. “Touch me... need you both.”I let my hand trail slowly up her thigh, savoring the feel of her heated skin under my palm.Fynn moved first, stripping his shirt over his head in one rough motion. My hands shook as I followed, yanking mine off too, until we were bare-chested, the marks of battle still faint on our skin, but all I could think about was her. Only her.I leaned down, brushing my mouth against her ear. “Then let us make you forget everything else but us. Let us ruin you properly.”A shudder rolled through her, and she whimpered, nodding.I
Kai's POV: The silence settled between us once again. It wasn't just exhaustion or shock anymore. It was something deeper… something raw and untamed. Beneath the numbness, I could feel it stirring like a beast roused from a long sleep. We were alive. Broken, bloodied, battered, but alive. And we were still standing together. But Vienna’s composure cracked first.A sob tore from her throat, raw and aching. She hugged herself, tears slipping down her face faster than she could wipe them away. "I don't want to lose either of you," she choked out, her voice splintering in the stillness. "Not now, not ever. You both... you're not allowed to go anywhere I can't reach. Not across barriers of time, space, or even knowledge. Do you hear me?"Her desperation hit me like a physical blow.I moved before I could think, stepping toward her slowly, giving her the chance to pull away if she needed to. But she didn’t. She leaned into Fynn’s touch first, and then into mine when I reached out, her bo
