Confusion

It was already afternoon, but Myra’s mind was restless, recollecting Elijah’s hurtful expression. She knew what she said to him was harsh, and instead of helping him convince Sharon, she ended up hurting him. He was his rational voice and had always looked out for the best for her, and she vented Abram’s frustration on him for no apparent reason. True, he shouldn’t have left her alone with Abram, but Elijah didn't do anything without a concrete reason.
