Chapter 5

Delilah’s POV

.

“No. I meant each and every word of mine. I don’t make jokes about feelings, especially when I’m clear about things. And I love you, Delilah.”

His confession again agitated me. How could he be so blunt? I get it that it was because of the mate bond, but still, a lot of people hide their true feeling until they are sure about the other partners so that they wouldn’t be hurt later, but he opened his heart in front of a stranger, who was also his enemy.

I had no idea what he was?

A werewolf or vampire!

And how strong he was! But all I could see was that he was extremely vulnerable in front of me. Once again, I didn’t know what to say. He smiled and suddenly moved to the couch where I was sitting, coming closer to me.

“Can I kiss you?”, He asked, on which my eyes widened. He came a little closer to me; now, our body was touching one another. I gulped my saliva. He reached near my hand and took my heels from my hand, which I didn’t remember that I was still holding. “You know, for safety purposes.”, he muttered.

Was he scared that I would hit him too?

Well, I didn’t know, but I found his fear sweet.

“May I?” he asked softly again, touching my face with fingers and pushing the strand of hairs behind my ear again. “If you don’t want to speak, then just nod or something. It’s just that I don’t want to steal your first kiss.”

“How? How do you know that this will be my first kiss?”

“I just studied you carefully before approaching you. So, may I?”, He asked again; before I knew it, I nodded my head. I wasn’t sure that I would ever let anyone this close to me. I would have kicked him as well but damn to mate bond. If this was affecting me, a human, this much, then how hard it would be for him to control his desire. He leaned down a second before he took my first kiss. For a moment, I was too surprised to react, and a strong arm around my waist. I again felt a wave of spark run all over my body, and I closed my eyes to feel it. My heart was pounding loudly against the ribcage. He pulled me close again, making his solid chest pinning me as if he was scared that I would escape. The scent of his cologue filled my nostrils, and I was sure that I could never forget this smell ever in my life. 

For the first time in my life, I had felt like this… something delightful in my stomach, and the batteries in my stomach went wild. Gently, he bit my lower lips. He moistened it with his tongue before giving me warm kisses.

“Please open your mouth, Dear, and let me in.”, He whispered instead of becoming wild and forcing his tongue. I had no idea about the kiss, so I just followed his words, swallowing the lumps in my throat before my lips trembled and opened. And the second I did, he captured my lips, sending a moan into my mouth.

I felt the taste of blueberry mojito when I tasted him.

‘This… this was something great.’, I thought. He took his time, playing with my lips, being passionate and gentle at the same time. Time stopped around me, and I forgot the loud music behind me in the nightclub. I was positive that, just like my dance, my kiss was horrible, but not once did he say a thing.

I didn’t realize when in the heat of the moment, he pushed on the couch and came on top of me.

“Mmmmm..” I softly hit his chest, reminding him that my lungs needed oxygen, and he understood that. He broke the kiss for a minute and lunged on my lips again, hungrily but gently. My hands wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer, and our kiss deepened. 

He guided one of the legs to wrap around his waist, and the moment I did, he grabbed my ass and squeezed it.

“Ah!” I threw my head backward in pleasure. This was wrong; everything was wrong. My mind reminded me after I saw his eyes full of desire for me, but hell to my body, it was betraying me. “I… I have to leave.”, I muttered, pushing him away even though a part of me didn’t want to leave, but I knew I shouldn’t be enjoying all these sorts of things with a person who was supposed to be my enemy.

“Will you come tomorrow?”

I shook my head, “No. Not tomorrow, not ever after. I’m leaving the city.” God! Why was I telling that to him? Again, he was hurt hearing me, but I couldn’t help him with it. “Don’t give me a look that I used your feelings or something. I cleared you from the start that I don’t want any relationship, nor I’m thinking about it.”

“Fine! Then, tell my Delilah, what do you want?” he asked softly, moving his fingers under my shorts under my dress and sending the tingles the bond sent through it. “Just look into my eyes and tell me, what do you want? Because it’s either NOW or NEVER. I will leave on my own if you will admit that neither you want me nor whatever that’s happening right now?” he asked and started to kiss my neck.

His presence, his wet kisses, was too much for me to stop me from thinking anything else. We shouldn’t be together in the first place.

Still, here we were.

“One… one night!!” I muttered shamelessly.

But his response to my answer was no less than a surprise for me. “You’re still young to ask for one night, baby girl.” I frowned, hearing him. “But I can offer you something near to it, something that your body had never felt before, something that will always remind you of me even after you leave.”

“And what is that?” I asked, biting my lower lips.

“I will strip you bare and give you the first and best orgasm of your life, by my fingers or my tongue; that choice will be yours.”

Orgasm?

With fingers or tongue?

God! Why was I so stupid in this stupid.

“If I were you, I would have chosen the option of the tongue as then I would get a chance to taste your juice.” I gasped, hearing him, and at the same time, I felt excited.

“Then… then I will also choose tongue.”

“That’s exactly what I wanted you to choose.”, he smirked while I was away from distracted to think straight. I knew what kind of person I was, so I knew that I would never allow anyone this close to me. And in this case, I would blame that mate bond.

I wanted to tell him that I was not that type of girl who was ready to ask for ‘One night’ just like that but then I didn’t want to explain myself to him. I just let him think whatever he wants.

Cassius was quick to kiss me again and our tongues danced together.

I couldn’t count the time, how long we were busy sucking each other lips; after all, we were not going to have this moment. Well, this was what I thought, but I had no idea about the future.

I felt him opening the zip of my dress between the kiss, and when it was finally opened, he paused the kiss to take it off my body. Keeping my dress on the couch carefully, I saw him observing me from toe to head, and then his eyes met mine.

“You’re breathtakingly beautiful.”, he commented, on which I averted my eyes, wondering should I thank him for the compliment that he had just given me?

I shivered when he tossed my bra after opening it and sucked my nipple while playing with the other with his fings, his thumb caressing my skin. Letting go of that nipple, he sucked the other while I just tried to hide under his because I was feeling shy for the first time in my life.

“You taste so good, Delilah.”, he whispered, looking into my eyes. And I could feel that whatever he was saying was nothing but true. The moment, his hand reached near my shorts. I grabbed it and shook my head.

“I… I just said that because of the flow of the emotion.”, I said. I knew I was being bipolar, but a part of my sane mind was not ready for orgasm or to let him taste whatever juice he was talking about. At first, a frown appeared on his face, and his eyes narrowed. “I’m sorry. I know I asked this saying I wanted it, but … I’m not ready.”

His jaws clenched, but soon he removed his hand from my shorts and brought it near my head, and kissed my forehead.

“It’s okay. I won’t do anything with which you’re not comfortable.”, he said, but I eyed him suspiciously. “Trust me. Otherwise, even your heels are here, and so does my face. Let me just kiss your kissable mouth. I won’t even go beyond your neck. I promise you that.”

My mind was still registering his words when he crashed his lips into hers, pressing my naked body against the couch, grinding his hips against my pelvis region. I felt his hard and little member against my bladder, and instead of saying anything to him, I was drawing in the pleasure. 

He kept increasing the pressure and decreasing it with every change in the second, giving me the pleasure that he could have given by entering inside me, but even this was great, and there was no point in denying that. This man sure knew how to please a woman.

Though I wasn’t the complete woman yet and totally inexperienced, I could tell that whoever had spent the night with him would have been lucky. Immediately my heart ached with that thought. I shook my head to throw that thought away.

I felt my panties getting soaked down there because of pleasure. At the same time, he took a deep smell and smiled. He definitely sensed my arousal.

The sound of our amorous gasps and moans kept ringing in my ears, but we weren’t getting enough of each other. I didn’t know how long it went on until I released something in my panties, and he smiled again against the kiss.

He broke the kiss not before giving me a peck. “I should stop myself now before I change my mind and try to convince you for more.”

Hearing him, I was positive that my cheeks would have changed the color to crimson red. “This was fucking amazing.”, he muttered, nuzzling his nose on my face. “I’m already looking forward to going beyond this.”, he added, on which I shook my head.

“That… that won’t happen ever again. We won’t meet again.”, I said with determination, knowing we might land in trouble, especially him. I saw a sly smile on his face, so I thought to clear something. “That I admire those men who don’t stalk.”, Saying this, I pushed him away. He said anything on it and left the couch to grab my bra and dress. While I wore the dress, he kept looking at me without blinking by sitting on the other couch.

Once I was done with the dress, I put on my heels finally. I checked the time and realized that I should be leaving now because I was getting a lecture from Mom. It was 11 PM already.

I stood on my feet to leave, and immediately my step was imbalanced, and before my ass could have kissed on the floor. I was in his arms.

How the hell did he reach here this fast?

Werewolves couldn’t move this fast in their human form; only one supernatural creature could.

I finally realized what exactly Cassius was, a vampire!!

A vampire who could eat and drink like a human and even the body temperature like a human, and that could be possible only when he is half vampire and half human, a hybrid, a dhampir to be exact.

“How did you reach here so fast?” I asked innocently, standing on my feet again.

“I was here only.”, he lied.

What was he thinking that we were playing the dialogues of Twilight's first part? But neither was he a pure vampire like Edward, nor was I a normal human like Bella.

“Bye,” I said and started to leave when I heard him speaking.

“We will meet soon.” I turned my head to look at him and found him grinning.

‘Don’t fall for it, Delilah. Just don’t. You have trained yourself to kill people like him, not to love someone like them. You would end up creating havoc in your hunter clan if you choose someone like me and vice versa.’, My mind warned, and this time I really heard to it.

Giving one last look, I left there carefully because of my damn heels.
