You finally caught me

Rain’s POV.

Being in Logan’s room is like being in his inner world. My feet pad on the tiled floor as I approach his walls filled with art images.

I never knew my professor to be a lover of art but with what I’m seeing, it’s damn obvious he is. My eyes widen with several people drawn on the frames.

Images of what looks like a family. I see a woman with bleach blond hair, smiling eyes and graciously riped lips.

She looks exceptionally demure and unapologetically beautiful. The kind of beauty that people can hardly resist. What strikes me to a halt is her uncanny resemblance to Logan. Her eyes are a sharp silver color. Taunting yet gentle just like Logan’s.

Trailing my eyes further down the picture, I see the words scribbled in what looks like an ancient language.

My finger casts a feather-light touch over the words but no matter how I force myself to understand it, it’s impossible.

What language is this?

How does Logan even understand this?
