THIRTY-ONE.

Logan POV.

She was late, and I didn't understand what happened or if she was okay, Evelyn sent a message saying that she couldn't send her early in the morning, she's supposed to be here at nine top, or it depends on my schedule, some days we start early, others not so much.

I knew I had to respect Evelyn's order, if she said that the baby should stay home and rest, then the baby was better off sleeping in her bed. I waited for Evelyn to give me an update on her, the final update was that she needed a ride to work, I couldn't drop my work and go to the house, instead, I had to use someone's help, and I had to call my one and only.

"Hunter," I say in my cutest voice, and to be honest I'm not cute, I was never called cute in my life, even when I and Hunter met the nicest thing he ever called me was lovey-dovey, never cute, and I never managed to make any kind of puppy eyes or kitten eyes, and I knew for sure that pet play wasn't the thing for us.
