As I floated in this eerie state of limbo, the realization of my predicament began to sink in. I wasn't dead, yet my body existed in an otherworldly shape, a translucent version of my former self. Panic surged through me as I recalled the brutal encounter with Zane, his cold eyes and twisted smile, the pain he inflicted upon me.

This wasn't how it was supposed to end. I couldn't let him win. I had to find a way back, to finish what he started and put an end to his reign of terror. But as the seconds ticked by, the spirits of this strange realm pulled me in further, their whispers growing louder, their grip tighter.

"Is this it? Is this how it ends?" I muttered to myself, the sound of my own voice echoing in the vast emptiness around me.

"No, it can't be," a voice, my own inner determination, answered back. "You can't give up now, Amanda. You have to fight. You have to find a way back."
