Chapter 73

Alex’s POV

Night descends as we sit in the living room, in front of the fire place.

We were waiting for Lucas and David to come back from their trip to Yukon.

I made sure that Lucas keeps me updated on their location consistently.

I was worried some of Lord Z’s men might be lurking around Stefan’s house.

Lucas assured me that there was no one watching the place.

He made sure to inform me when they were heading back here and that it might take longer to come back because they might stop along the way, in case David wanted some time alone to gather his thoughts after he tells him the truth.

So we were all just waiting, hoping the kid is able to put himself back together after he hears everything from Lucas.

I still wasn’t sure that he was the best man to break that news to him, but what can I say? He was stubborn and determined to let himself handle it.

I was also itching to know if they gathered any useful information that can help us end that man.
