Chapter 77

Jenny’s POV

The first thing that seeps through my awareness is the freezing coldness of the atmosphere.

I was uncontrollably shaking, my teeth were chattering.

I’m instantly aware of what happened to me.

It felt like only minutes ago, I saw a man shooting Simon without any hesitation, even though I was sure it has been a lot more than minutes.

The second thing I become aware of before I open my eyes is that I can’t move.

My hands and feet were bound. I was sitting on a chair, my hands painfully pinned behind my back, while my feet were tied up to the legs of the chair.

The smell of smoking was filling up the place, where ever that place was.

God does Alex know what happened yet?

Is he looking for me?

A part of me wanted him to come right now and rescue me but another part didn’t. It was a trap. They were going to kill them all.

I finally gathered the courage to open my eyes and take a look at my surroundings.

I seemed to be in an empty large warehouse.
