"Feel anything?" Darlene asked, her expectant face fell when I shook my head, "That's okay, I'll try the provocation approach later, your wolf has to emerge."

She returned to the laundry we were doing. My attention was on the suit jacket I was dry-cleaning. I tried not to let my thoughts wander off to what was looming.

"When you become Luna, I'll be relieved of all these tasks, I'll have my hair and nails done like Karla does all the time. She doesn't lift a finger because her best friend is the

Luna. Same here, my cousin's the Luna, why should I work?"

I met the silly grin on her face which lit me up for some reason.

"A break from all these would be so nice." I smiled.

The laundry today was basically ours. Darlene was helping Matt with his clothes and I ended up helping her alongside my clothes.
