I had been waiting all day for Ms. Seline to walk in through the door. This was unusual; she usually visited to issue an instruction from the Alpha or bring my food to me, but since morning, I haven't caught a glimpse of her. What could be wrong? Could it be that the king found out what happened and decided to punish her?

Was my mum even able to make it to Richard? There was no way for me to find that out. I felt frustrated and seriously disturbed by the fact that I was clueless about the happenings outside the four corners of this dungeon.

All of a sudden, the gate to the dungeon swung open, pulling me from my thoughts as I immediately sprang up to my feet despite being weak as I had no water or food all day, hoping to see Ms. Seline. But to my dismay, Alpha Sebastian stood at the doorway. I heaved a sigh of dejection as I slowly fell to a squat, hugging my legs.
