Sabrina stared at the result for a little too long; her eyes were wide in shock. Jessica, on the other hand, was impatient; she wanted to know what was written on the paper.

"What does it say, Sabrina?" she asked impatiently.

Sabrina looked up at her and shook her head in astonishment without saying a word. I felt dread curl up in the pit of my stomach. Just what could be on that paper? I wondered.

I looked at the doctor's face and couldn't read his thoughts; his eyes were fixed on me, and I knew something was bubbling in his mind, but I didn't know what it was. I swallowed hard as I waited for the worst.

Jessica snatched the paper from Sabrina and read out the content.

"Two weeks pregnant?" she said in astonishment as she looked up at me. "How the hell did this happen…?"

I was stunned. I glanced at the doctor, and he nodded his head when no one was looking and offered a smile. Relief instantly washed over me. How did he know I needed help? How did he know to do what he did?
