I only snapped back to reality when the door opened again. A woman entered and rushed towards us.

"What happened to Tita Mary?" the woman asked, concern evident as she assisted Miguel.

The woman briefly glanced at me before helping Miguel wake Tita. She still hasn't regained consciousness. Miguel lifted his mother, who looked pale. I felt even more anxious.

"Please watch over my sister, Caroline. I'll take her outside to be checked by the nurses," Miguel said before quickly leaving the room with the woman.

"Get well soon. Your mother and brother need you," I whispered as gently touched her hand.
