Chapter Five

Nevada chuckled as she watched the other girls splash water at each other. They had come to the stream to fetch some water and decided to play a little bit. She sighed as she stared into the space and then longed to return back to the pack, she was an Omega who got accepted into a bigger family of omegas and lived in their midst as a member.

Her life wasn't exactly a bed of roses but she was thriving, they had been chosen to explore more grounds and seek for information on how they would strengthen their forte, grow their crops more and be at peace with other packs and she volunteered to be among them. She couldn't wave off the feeling that she was being watched.

She closer her eyes and relived the memory of the happiest day she could remember, she had gone rabbit hunting that day and felt a strange presence with her, she was one to be wary of strange presences and danger but it felt different that day, she felt at peace and safer. Joy encapsulated her soul and for the first time in a very long time she felt alive.

Even her wolf was active that day and it howled happily in her head. She had always dreamt of finding solace in the arms of one who would fight the entire world just for her sake, she had shrugged that feeling away and went back to their abode, she still felt someone watching her but when she looked; no one was there.

Recently the feeling had reemerge and she needs no soothsayer to tell her that it was no some deja Vu. She sucked in hair into her lungs and silently pray that happiness would find her. She got tired of the naughty girls and decided to take a short walk into the woods with the intention of finding few rabbits on her way back.

The smell of caramel with a mix of petrichor strongly invaded her nostrils as she wandered farther into the woods and she took a minute to take it all in. It arouse some excitement in her and she decided to trace it to it's source. She went further into the woods and paused when she realized she had gotten to where the scent was overwhelming.

She savored that sweet moment for a minute and opened her eyes to see the most handsome man ever stand right in front of her. His long silky and golden hair danced to the tune of the wind and his clothes hugged his body tightly; showing off his manly figure which was to die for.

The sun shine on his spotless and beautiful face and as he gulped in his own saliva loudly her eyes trailed to his Adam's apple which seemed to beckon her, she shamefully sucked her bottom lips as she inwardly ache to have a taste of his plum and perfectly round lips.

Standing in front of her he looked like a god, his hotness could be compared to the flames emanating from hell. Her eyes trailed down to his full form and the bulge from his pants made her gulp in both nervously and hungrily. She suddenly envisioned herself writhing under him, she shook her head to wave away such horrible and Lewd thoughts but the man seemed to have caught her as he chuckled in response.

"There's no need hiding your desires." The man said.

Nevada felt her heart would burst as excitement filled it. His voice sounded like an angelic music to her ears, he moved closer to her and gently caresses her face with his hands, surprisingly; his touch didn't repulse her but she seemed to enjoy it. She closed her eyes and savored the feeling. He planted a soft kiss on her lips and she moaned on his.

Her eyes flew open seeing that she was attracted to this stranger, her wolf howled happily in her head and growled 'Mate!'

Nevada couldn't believe her ears and a wide smile graced her face as the man nodded which confirmed her thoughts. She had found her mate! Nevada couldn't contain her excitement and kissed the man back. All her life she had dreamed of finding her mate and here he was standing right in front of her.

"Come with me." The man beckoned to her.

She knew it was stupid to go with a man she just met but something seem to compel her to do his wishes hence she accepted his invitation, they walked for few minutes, holding hands and then they arrived at where a horse was tied. The man helped her mount the horse and he also mounted it as well.

He rode out of the woods to a certain place. Though they spent few hours before getting to their destination Nevada saw it as just few minutes. His presence filled her with unspeakable joy and as he breathed down on her she enjoyed every bit of it. It was nightfall when they arrived at his place. It was the biggest place she had ever set her eyes upon.

He gently unmounted from the horse and helped her as well, she noticed people around addressed him as alpha but she had her eyes fixed only on him. She found herself walking with him down a ridiculously long hallway and then into his chambers. He shed the thicker layer of his clothing away and smiled at her.

Nevada knew what must be done as her wolf was restless already, she was restless as well and almost removed her clothing immediately as well, the man was half clad and he gently pinned her to the huge bed in the center of the room. He breathed down on her and gently kissed her lips, she ached for more but he pulled away.

He intentionally teased her with his kisses and when she couldn't take the testing anymore she drew him closer and deepened the kiss taking him unaware.
