Charlotte POV

I gripped my my hand beside me, clenching it around my skirt as I tried hiding my fear as I could feel his dangerous gaze on me as he was moving round me in a circular manner.

"I guess someone got lucky," he muttered, while I stared at him since he stopped in front of me.

I was dying of fear and could only pray the group opens and swallows me up, but unfortunately it didn't.

I was suddenly pulled away from him, and Alex covered me from him.

"Let her be. What has come over you?" Alexander asked coldly, his hand clenched beside him, and it was obvious he was having enough of this shit. I didn't like the way his dad was staring at me either, he was definitely a very dangerous man.

"Take it easy, son, I wasn't doing anything," his father said, and wanted to ruffle his hair, but he brushed off his hand.

"Stop it Dad, I'm not in the mood," he said, before pulling me to the staircase along with him.

"You've finally decided to call me dad, huh? What made you do that? Could it be

Charlotte's POVAlex wasn't driving this time; he had taken the passenger seat while Fenris was the driver. The atmosphere around them was somber, and it pained me to know that I was the reason for their sadness. I had clearly dampened their spirits by ignoring their Alpha, but I hoped they would be okay.To be honest, I was forced to act this way, and I had to do it because those dark chocolate eyes were constantly watching my every move, and I knew he wouldn't hesitate to harm me.
