SARAH
Jayson wasn't kidding when he said Luke wasn't a happy guy in the mornings.
His favorite thing to do is yell. He yells everything. He barks orders and his temper is short.
He kind of scares me. I'm hesitant to spar with him because I don't want to make him mad. The unfortunate part about that is he's impatient.
"Come on, Sarah! Get off your fucking ass and hit me!" He's just thrown me to the ground for what feels like the hundredth time. I'm out of breath, my ribs still tender and I've had enough of his yelling.
"You know. I'm right here. You don't have to keep yelling at me." I pant. Holding onto my knees.
He gets up in my space, real close. "I'm here at 5 in the fucking morning to train you before I've even had my fucking coffee. I will yell at you as much as I damn well please!" He glared into my eyes.
I bite my bottom lip. Slightly arching back. He eyes my face up and down and turns. "Now, you going to hit me or what?"
"Ok." I say and I run at him. I swing a left then a right and he blocks.
"More power. Shift your weight." He instructs as I try to land a blow.
"Keep your eye on your target. Look for an opening."
"How's it going?" Jayson comes out from behind me.
Luke's attention is turned and I land a right hook right to his nose.
"Fuck!" He yells bending over as his nose gushes blood.
"Oh God! Luke I'm sorry!" I bend down with him
He's whining in pain. "It's fine.... it's fine.... fuck." He stands and lifts his head back to stop the bleeding.
I turn to Jayson, who actually looks like he's fighting a smile. "I see things are good here."
"Yep. Uh...Sarah's....getting better." His voice sounds nasally as he stammers, holding his nose.
Jayson walks up to him. "Let me see."
He holds Luke's face, examining his nose. "Hold still." He puts his thumbs on either side and gives a quick twist.
"Fucking Jesus!" Luke breaks from him and bends over again.
Jayson chuckles. "Broke his nose. Nice."
"Luke. I'm so sorry." I apologize again.
He waves me down. "It's fine. But if it's OK with you, Jay, I've got a splitting headache and need some fucking Tylenol." He stands wiping the blood off his face with his shirt.
"Go on. I'll finish up." Jayson says. Clapping him on his back.
Luke looked to me. "Nice hit. You only get one." He warns then walks off.
Once Luke's gone, Jayson turns to me. "So, you can fight."
I smirk, arching a brow. "Yeah. If you call that fighting."
He crouches. "Come on. Hit me."
I cross my arms. "Are you going to just run away again or is this real training?"
He stands and gives me a snarky look. "I didn't run away."
I smirk. "Oh, yes you did."
"I had work to do. You're not the only one on the field." He crossed his arms.
"Ok. Sure." I scoff.
"Just......hit me." He crouches again.
I rush him with swings. Just like Luke, he's also blocking them. "Change it up. Keep me on my toes."
So, I do. I lift my leg and kick him hard in the chest.
He goes down with the wind knocked out of him. "That was good." He says fighting for air.
He stands. "Do it again."
I repeat the move. He grabs my foot before I can connect and flips me onto my back.
He stands smirking, while I groan in the ground. "Again." He barks.
I get up and come at him again.
As I swing, he barks. "Now, block."
He swings at me and I try to block his blows. "Good. Dodge." I swing under his arms.
"Excellent. Watch my feet." He drops and swings his leg out, but I didn't get it and he swept my legs out from underneath me. I groan on my back again
He extends an arm. "That was really good."
He lifts me up and I brush myself off. "I still ended up on my ass."
"True. But you know for next time." He put his hands on his hips. "You pull all that together, you'll be a fighter in no time."
"Doubt it." I pick up my water bottle and take a swig.
He does the same. "Don't sell yourself short, kid. You have some talent. You could really do well here."
I narrow my eyes. "Why do you do that?"
He gets a curious look on his face. "Do what?"
"Act like you care, but then act like you stand me." I told my arms and kick out a foot.
"I'm a trainer. I'm supposed to encourage." He grabbed a towel from his bag and wiped his forehead.
I shake my head. "Naw. I'm not buying it. One of them is fake."
He groans. "Listen, kid. I'm just doing my job. Quit thinking it's anything else." He picks up his stuff and starts to walk toward the Alpha building.
"Ok. If you say so. Later, Alpha." I smile and he shoots me a scowl.
I've definitely gotten under his skin. How deep, I don't know yet. But poking the bear seems to be working on some level. There is cool guy in there and I think I just saw him.
I'll have to see how far I can take this.
****
I'm sitting with Ash, Sam, Shane, and two guys we met a couple of days ago.
First, there's Hayden. He's cute, with stylish dark brown hair and hazel eyes that look almost like gold. Very tanned. He's not my type really. He tries for the bad boy image, but I see right through it. He's a big softy.
Then there's Sean. With his golden blonde hair and tanned skin, he looks like he's from California. He has ink up and down his arms. A charming smile seated in chiselled features. Very hot, but I'm not feeling it. It's like being with Sam.
"We need something fun to do." Ash said, poking at her food.
Sean leaned over. "I heard about a club that's in Caledon. Apparently, it's a great party."
I contemplate. "I could use a party."
Sean pulls out his phone. He looks up the club. "It's called Feral. Looks pretty awesome and it's not far from here." He flashes his phone around to show the red and white lighted club.
"I say we do it. Friday night." I grin.
Ash bounces in her seat. "This is going to be so fun."
"You got to help me pick something to wear. I'm not really good with all the girly dress up stuff." I look at Ash.
She leans back. "Don't worry girl, I got you."
****
Friday afternoon, I'm sparring with Sam. I use the moves that Luke and Jayson have taught me so far. Finally able to knock somebody down on purpose.
Sam sits up and puts his arms on his knees. "How did you get so good all of a sudden?"
"Natural talent." I smirk flipping my hair over my shoulder.
He stands up, dusting himself off. "Yeah, right." He scoffs.
Just as we were about to go again, Jayson walks by. "You two need any help?" He says in a low, commanding voice.
"No. We're good." I grin with my hands on my hips.
Sam crosses his arms. "Says you. I can't seem to stay on my feet."
"Giving you a run for your money, is she?" Jayson arches his brow.
He waves Jayson off. "Naw. I'm just off today." He totally lied. I'm kicking his ass. I guess he didn't want to seem like a wimp.
Jayson chuckles. "Alright then."
He was about to leave when I said. "Hey. A bunch of us are going to Feral tonight. You want to come?"
"Me?" He points to his chest.
"Yeah. I don't see any other Alphas around." I smile.
"I don't know. I'll think about." He turns and walks away.
"K bye." I stand there watching him continue down the line.
Sam stands beside me. "Think he'll show?"
"Oh, he'll show. I know he will."

"This one?" I hold a dress up to my body. I'm going through Ash's closet. She never goes anywhere, long term, without an arsenal of dress up stuff.
Ash shakes her head. "No. Not flashy enough."
I pull out a silver dress.
"Ugh. Too flashy." She scrunches her nose.
I pull out a blue, spaghetti strap dress.
"Perfect!!" Ash says.
I take off my shorts and t shirt and pull the dress on. I turn and look in the mirror. "You don't think it's too short?" I tug at the bottom.
"It's perfect!" She grabs me and sits me down. "Put your hair up and you'll look gorgeous."
After we both got ready, we met up with Georgia and a few other girls.
The boys met us in the parking lot. "Damn ladies. Dressed to kill!" Hayden drooled.
"Of course." I say. Even though I never do girly.
Sean slides up to Georgia. "You ready, sweet cheeks?"
She rolls her eyes. "Smooth one, Romeo."
Shane wipes his shoulders. "The ladies better be ready, because they don't know what's coming." He grins.
I scoff. "Yeah, disappointment. " Shane shoves me almost knocking me off my heels. "Careful!"
"Never." He says in an evil tone.
Hayden looks at his watch. "Better get going if we want tables."
"Let's party!" I yell.
Feral is a short, two block walk from the training camp property. By the time we get there, it's packed!
I actually see a lot of faces from camp there. I guess word got out.
The bass music is thumping. There are people coming in and out. There's a bouncer by the door.
We're already dancing as we approach the door.
"You all from the center?" The big, burly bouncer says.
Ash grins, flashing her dimples. "Yep!"
"There's a lot of you guys tonight. Have fun." He waves us in.
I wink at him "planning on it." Ash grabs my hand and pulls me in.
The guys all follow as us girls shimmy up to the bar. Hayden coolly leans on the bar. "What do you girls want?"
"Screwdriver, please." Georgia yells.
"Wine for me." Ash says.
"Whiskey on the rocks." I call out.
Hayden orders beers for all the guys and our drinks.
Georgia screams. "I love this song! Dance floor now!"
We all start bouncing and dancing to the dancefloor after the bartender gets our drinks.
The floor is packed and our little group is barely able to fit as we dance around.
I take a gradual look around and see a face I knew couldn't resist coming.
Jayson is posted up at a table with the three other guys and Wren.
He glances my way and turns back to his beer.
I don't give him a second thought. I dance around. Sean starts dancing up to me and we dance together for a song.
After a few, I lean to Ash. "I'm going to get a drink."
She leans to me. "Get me one!"
I nod and worm my way through the crowd. I slide up to the bar and wave the bartender. He brings my order and a large arm comes in beside me and slaps a twenty on the counter.
"Keep the change." Jayson yells to the bartender.
I turn with drinks in hand. "Thanks." I smile.
"Having fun?" He asks. His face still gruff.
"Yeah. This place is awesome. Wanna dance?" I offer.
"Ah, no." He grabs his beer.
"What, you're too cool?" I smirk.
He tips his beer back. "Something like that." And he turns and walks away.
"Bye." I shake my head and dance back to the group.
I have a few more drinks and have a sufficient buzz going on. I dance with Sean and Hayden some more.
I'm starting to get hot and sweaty. I need to cool off.
"I need some air." I say to Ash.
She gives me a thumbs up and I head for the entrance.
I get outside and lean on the wall. Fanning myself.
"Pretty hot in there."
I whip my head toward the voice. Jayson walks over with his hands in his pockets.
"You following me?" I smirk.
"What? No." He leans on the wall beside me. "Just out for air too."
I eye him up and down. He's wearing a red, tight t shirt that shows his muscles just perfectly and a pair of black jeans. "You look different without sweats."
"So do you." He looks at the ground.
I study him for a minute. "Did you want something?" I turn toward him leaning my shoulder on the wall.
He glances. "No. Just making conversation."
"You sure." The corner of my mouth ticks up as I play with the strap of my dress.
He watches me for moment then stands. "Yeah. I'm sure. Enjoy your night." And he goes back inside.
I'm not totally sure what just happened here, but it feels like I'm getting closer to the Alpha.
I could feel he wanted something more than what he was letting on. I know now, he only needs a little more nudging to fall off the edge. And I'll be there to give him that push.
JAYSON After realizing that I haven't been actually out of this place for weeks, I decided it would actually be a good idea to kick back and throw back a few with friends. Just relax and have a good time. Kale and Dea were seated on either side of me with Cass and Wren across the table. "Damn! This place is crawling with some sweet things." Kale licks his lips eyeing the dance floor. Throwing that stupid smile out to any girl that looked his way. Wren raised her bottle to her lips. "God, Kale. Do you have to be such a horn dog?" Kale managed to pry his eyes from the floor to Wren. "I am what I am, babe." He raises his hands and smiles. "Gross." She takes a swig. Cass chuckles. "At least he admits it. All the rest of you are all liars." I tip my beer back. "Don't include me in this. It's been months since my last hunt." Wren leans on the table. "And why is that?" I shrug. "Just not interested. Random bar hook ups. Gets boring after a while." Kale turns to me. "Naw. You're ju
SARAHI did it. I don't know how, but I did. I made the grumpy Alpha smile. Not only that, I made him actually have fun with me.It was nice sharing that part of myself with him. I don't even share it with Ash. It's a coping mechanism my mom developed to try and stop me from causing havoc. Every day, before school, she'd turn on music and the two of us would crazily dance until we had to leave.Sharing it with Jayson felt almost natural. Like he's supposed to know my secrets. Dancing with him made me feel relaxed. We just met, yet I feel like I've known him for years. Like we could actually be friends.I've been wanting to thank him for the great time I had, but it's Thursday and I haven't seen Jayson since Saturday morning. Cass has been training us all week. I asked Cass where he was and he said Jayson had to head home for pack business for a few days. He's supposed to be back today. So, I'll probably pop into his office after practice to say hi.Cass isn't bad. Pretty fair. Definit
JAYSONI knew it wouldn't be long before the Terror of Black Lake struck. It was only a matter of time.I had hoped that I was straightening her out enough, to actually be a disciplined, young girl. I guess I was wrong.I know her seeing me with Wren had something to do with the tennis ball attack. I just don't know what for. It's not like she can be mad at me. We are in no way together. We're barely friends. But clearly, if her aiming balls at my head wasn't an indication of her being angry, her face, when she was back on the field, definitely was.I wish she didn't see it, but I won't feel bad about it. I have no attachment to her. Yeah, she's gorgeous. Funny, smart, a good fighter. But I refuse to get involved. I won't. And I won't be held responsible for her school girl crush either. So why do I feel like a giant asshole?I probably could've explained myself, but I shouldn't have to. I don't need to explain myself to anyone.Wren insisted I talk to her and I flat out refused. Wha
SARAHI literally cried for days. I was miserable, drained. Hearing Jayson say those words. Hearing him lose whatever hope he had for me, had my guts twisted. I felt awful.Ash tried to cheer me up, but it wasn't working. If I wasn't on the field, I sat in my room, feeling sorry for myself. When Jayson asked me who I wanted to be, at that point I didn't care anymore. I just want to be me and get on with my life. I don't need Jayson to do that. Then he shows up at my door. He looked desperate. Like he was being tortured or something. When I told him about why I was at his office that day, I could see it in his face. The realization of how much he hurt me.It's not the act with Wren. Like I said, I didn't care. But after he just let me fester. He wasn't even the least bit curious about why I wanted to see him. It stung. Stung so bad, I lashed out.Seeing him at my door the next morning. Wanting to dance with me. Made everything wash away. My anger and frustration disappeared. All I ever
JAYSON No. It's not fate. It can't be. I don't deal in it. That ship sailed a long time ago. But I can't deny that even when I'm not looking for her, Sarah's always there where I can see her. And lately, when I'm not with her, I've found myself thinking about her. She's definitely something else. I don't know anyone who would feel free enough to do back flips in a laundry room. And, yes, I enjoyed watching that cute body flex. Damn, she's bendy. I just wish she could control herself. I don't know what Kale did, but fuck, it's only been a week since her last punishment. I have to slow her down somehow. Which is why her early practice isn't on the field. It's in the clearing. "We're dancing again for punishment?" She stands at the entrance in the long grass as I drop my bag by the log and open it. I walk back to her and point at her. "No. You are going to learn to calm yourself." I pull her into the clearing. I pull out a blanket and start to spread it out. "When I was first in
SARAH I feel so bad. I don't even know why my wolf would ever want to hurt Jayson. I don't remember much of the interaction. My wolf shut me out the minute she tore through. The only thing I remember is the tidal wave of anger that hit me just before. I've never in my life been that mad at anything. What's worse is, I've always had great control of my wolf, but yesterday I was useless against her. She wanted out and was going to tear me apart to get out. Jayson was surprisingly nonchalant about the whole thing. He never spoke of it and when I tried to bring it up, he'd distract me or change the subject. I just wish I could know what she wanted. The week went by pretty normal. I've been sparring with Deacon this week. I rush at him with the offensive moves we've been learning at a more advanced level. He swings at me and I juke right. I grab his wrist and twist it around. Then land a kick on his ass. Sending him flying to the ground. He groans, rolling to his back. "Ugh, you n
SARAH That kiss.... Totally not what I was expecting. I was all set for yelling, lectures, more punishment. But instead, I got a kiss that moved the freaking planet. It was a real, honest to goodness kiss. He felt so good. My insides were burning. I'm sure if Luke hadn't shown up, things would have got really hot. Last night, I barely slept. I kept running fingers over my lips. I could still feel him. Still feel his lips. I felt his hand slide on my back. Feel the squeeze on my ass. My fingers remember his stubble on his chiselled jaw. The feel of his hard chest in my hand. How my fingers felt running through his hair. Every nerve ending remembers every little detail of that kiss on the gym floor. Including the hardness in his pants. Even though I didn't sleep a wink, I'm on cloud freaking nine. Nothing is bringing me down today. Not even the punishment I'm sure to get in the next minute. I stand at Jayson's office door. I quietly knock. "It's open!" I hear being barked from in
JAYSON I don't know what I'm doing. I want Sarah, but I know it won't work. She's still a giant troublemaker and I can't have that kind of headache in my life. Not when I'm trying to just get through this camp to hopefully get the operation leader job I want. So, I cooled things off. I don't want a relationship, but when I saw her kissing Sean something inside me wanted to rip his damn head off. Now, I'm not sure if wanting Sarah at arm's length is what I want either. The next morning, I walk out to the field to join the Alphas. "Hey." I mumble. Cass folds his arms. "You supervising the suicide run tonight?" I shake my head. "Naw. You do it. I've got work to do." Luke side eyes me. "You mean you have a girl to avoid." I blow out a breath. "That too." Wren puts her hand on my shoulder. "You can't avoid her forever." "I know. But I can until I get over whatever this is." I rub my nape. "Jayson, you're lying to yourself man." Deacon says. "You're just scared she might actually
SARAH"Maddie, I thought you said you were going to help me." I glare at my sister, filing her nails on my couch."Don't you have people now to move those?" She waves at the piles of boxes surrounding me.I stomp over to her. "I don't have people. I have you. Come on." I grab her hand and pull her off the couch."Sarah, I'm going to get all sweaty." She whines. My dad walks in with a box. "Maddie, help your sister." He warns.I shove a box in her hand. She rolls her eyes. "Fine." Carrying the box to Jayson's room."Whoa!" Vic almost walks into a tower of boxes."Checking in?" Nate teases."Hi, guys!" I run over and give them both a hug. "I missed you. I have so much to tell you."Vic pushes past headed for the dining hall. "I'm starving."Nate looks around at the mess I've made moving into the packhouse. "Apparently."Maddie comes down and Nate sees her. Not taking his eyes off her, he waves me down. "Later though." He walks over to Maddie. "Hi. I'm Nate. You are...." He reached out h
JAYSONGod, I love being in love.Sarah's my everything. I feel like I can do anything. Stand up to anything. Fight anything. She gives me so much power.Seeing her stand up to River like that had me beaming with pride. My Luna doesn't take crap from anyone. Not even Alphas. Especially when her home is involved.Which us why I wish she was here right now with me while I meet with Alpha Andrews and River. Apparently, he called back up. That being the Alpha of Falcon Ridge.I'm sitting in my office with these two across from me at the conference table.Andrews has his hands folded. "Alpha Duke.""Please. Call me Jay." I smile as I lean back in my chair. I'm probably cockier than I should be right now, but I don't care."Jay." He sighs. "You know you don't have a leg to stand on here.""See. That's where you're wrong." I sit up. "Since I'm now the new Alpha in charge, I have full right to disrupt or destroy any agreements made by my father. Under the guise that his decision is not what's
SARAHAs soon as we got downstairs, Jayson handed me his phone. "Call your mother." He nodded.I dialed my mom. When she answered and I told her I was safe, she could barely talk. They were at the packhouse in ten minutes.Shane busted through the door. "Sarah!"I smiled. "Here." I called from the common room.H saw me and ran full tilt into me knocking us to the floor. "You never leave me again!"Jayson came out of the dining hall with a cup of coffee to see the commotion. He saw us on the floor giggling like children.Shane got up and helped me up. He wiped his eyes and tried to act all tough. "If you do that to me again, I'm going to knock you out." He shook a fist at me."Oh please." I scoffed. "I can take you out with one hand behind my back."He hugged me again."Hey, brat." Maddie was crying. "Don't scare me like that. It causes wrinkles you know."I laugh through the tears that start to fall. The three of us hug.Jayson watches us. He walks over to my parents. "Adam, Marie. Ho
JAYSONAfter our mate bonding experience, I led Sarah down the hill to the car. I grabbed a blanket from my trunk and wrapped her in it.I put her in the car and texted everyone to tell them I found her.She fell asleep almost instantly the whole two hours home. Keeping an eye on the highway, I would glance over at my angel. Moving her hair so I can see her face.As I looked out at the road I glanced up. Looking at the moon now past its peak. "Thank you." I whisper to it. I never believed in cosmic beings but I'm sure now, there's something out there and I thank fuck it was listening to me.As we pull into Black Lake, she stirs."Hey, kid. Have a good sleep?" I smile at her.She gets up. Her hairs a mess but I don't care. She could look like hell warmed over and I'll still love her to death. I will admit though. She needs a shower."How long was I asleep?""Two hours. Has anyone told you, you snore?" I grin. She slaps me. "I do not!""Oh yeah, you do. I almost pulled over because I th
JAYSONI'm going out of my fucking mind.I'm in my office. Stewing. It's been three days since Luke got back and my emotions are amped 100 times. Of course, it doesn't help the fucking moon is tonight.I was going to have the best time with Sarah. I was going to dance with her, kiss her. Make love to her and mark her. Making her mine forever. Now, I don't know if I'll ever see her alive again.I pound back a shot of Whiskey. There's a knock at my door."Come." I bark. The door opens. "Hello, son." My father walks in.My eyes narrow. "What do you want?""Son." He walks in."Don't fucking son me. You sold us out!" I pour another glass and sip it.He shook his head. "I had no choice. The council twisted my arm."I pound back my shot and slammed my glass on the desk. I stood up. "No! You had a fucking choice! You're just too much of coward to stand up to them!""We can't fight them, Jayson! When are you going to realize that?!" He yelled back."Oh, I'm fighting them. They will pry this pa
JAYSON"Ok, Shane. Hit me." I hold up the pads as Shane stands on front of me with taped fists. He strikes the pad. "Good. Again."He strikes the other. This time harder. "Excellent."He hits the pad again. This time I'm feeling it in my hands. "Good job, buddy...."I watch him as his face slowly changed from concentration to anger. He hits the pads faster and harder. His breathing is sped up. His body tensed. My hands are really starting to hurt as he hits the pads over and over.I look at the tape and it's turning red."Shane. Slow it down." I say as I see something build inside him. He still swinging. He starts to move in on me, forcing me to back up. "Shane!" I up my tone to snap him out of it as he attacks me.He's moving in more. Throwing out punch after punch.I see a tear roll down his cheek. He's growling now and gritting his teeth. His eyes start to glow blue.I push him back. "Shane!!""Argghh...." He comes back at me.Swinging faster punching at anything now.I toss a pad
JAYSON I'm desperate. Angry. My legs are on fire but don't fucking care. I've been running for hours. Sniffing the air and the ground. My biggest problem is the entire forest is filled with the scent of rogue. I'm not a tracker. I can't zone in on anything. On the ground, paw prints are everywhere. In no discernible direction and no human tracks what so ever. Which means Sarah is being carried. Or they made her shift. I push forward, looking for anything. After another three hours, I shift. My wolf is tired and hungry. I lean on a tree and slide down to the ground. My knees drawn up and my elbows on my thighs. I'm breathing heavy as my hands run into my hair. Gripping it in desperation. My breaths are coming out as whines as I process the fact that Sarah's gone forever. In the hands of White. Anything could be happening to her. As my frustration builds, I lash out. Screaming and hitting the ground. I kick my leg out and my foot hits something. I look, confused. Tilting my hea
SARAHI don't know how long we've been running. Shortly after I lost sight of Jayson, I lost consciousness. I don't know who this guy is, but he's got a mean grip. When I come too, I'm hit with a sickening stench right under my nose.It takes me a minute to realize I'm moving. I'm facing the ground and it's whizzing by me.I feel fur under me.As I come back to reality, I see I'm on the back of a rogue. Hog tied around his stomach."Wh..Wha..what?" I panic. Trying to move my hands and feet. The beast I'm on growls and thumps his back. Jostling me. My guess to settle me down. Well fuck that noise.I pull myself up and pull the rope up on his side. The rope pulls his skin and fur and as my legs slip under him, he lost his focus and balance. We both veer off, skidding into the dirt. The rope snaps. It takes a second for me to realize I'm free and I pull the ropes off. Running as fast as I can. Into the forest. I'm crying as I run. I don't know where I'm headed. Just anywhere, but here.J
JAYSONIt really is amazing what kind of tech you can bring on a mission like this. You think you'd have to sacrifice things like communication to the outside world, but not with the mission unit. We got that covered. With every break, River's been communicating with the leaders and the bases. Getting Intel as we get closer to the rogue packs. Our trackers have them out maybe half day.River's pacing around on a satellite phone. He runs to a laptop. "Show me."He pushes some buttons. He looks at the photos and stands. Rubbing his forehead. He looks to me and waves me over.I jog over to him and skid to a stop at the make shift table where the laptop was sitting. He points to the picture. "This was over a day ago."I scan the sight. Rogue bodies, stripped to the bone. The place looked like a horror show."And this." He clicks another button. "Was ten miles from there."I look at what looks like a deer herd. Gutted. Destroyed. They were barely recognizable. And it wasn't just that. It w
