IS ARCANA GOING TO BE ON A****N OR BARNES AND NOBLES?
I am happy to announce that Arcana is going to be published independently. I know you must have been wondering where it will be available.
The truth is I am torn between two options: A****n and Barnes & Noble. I have tested A****n as a publishing platform and do not find it favourable but using another platform is a risk I do not I am willing to take. Having got some tips to utilize A****n better, I am still not sure if I am willing to use it.
So, Arcana publishing site is still uncertain.

Thanks,

The next day was predicted to be sunny so I just wore a doublet and trousers. It was not though. I don't know but I enjoyed watching the disappointed of the weather casters when rain fell instead of the hail they predicted. Perhaps God was showing them He did things the way He wants to.
I resumed early. Tanner was just opening.
“Hey, kid. You’re pretty early,” he said which surprised me. “ And make more deep coffee today.”
“Yeah, yeah whatever boss,” I replied and took the shaker. I added extra caffeine and then shook it violently.
That morning's work was fun because I danced as I shake, hearing words like:
“A trio.”
“A couple.”
“A dozen!”
And I replied, “Right up.”
Or “Coming up.”
As usual, girls came over to the counter to look at my face. There was a lady; a blonde who came by 7:30 rushing to the counter. I was backing the counter when she came.
“Give me two cups of coffee and be quick for I am in a hurry,” I heard and after preparing two coffees, turned to her.
She stared at me looking dazed for a moment before regaining herself. “Uh, hi.”
“Here’s your order,” I said giving her the coffee.
“Uh, thanks,” she said and collected it from me. Then she turned and zoomed out of the shop.
What was hurrying her, I thought.
****
She busted through the revolving door and returning greetings, she ran into the elevator and took it to the office.
“Coffee’s here,” she announced to the owner of the office, a black-haired lady.
She handed it to the lady.
“Thanks,” the owner replied. “Is it still at Tanner’s you got it?”
“Yeah. I wondered why you were reluctant to go,” the first lady who was a blonde said.
“The new waiter upset me. He was rude and it was at the time I had a lot on my head so I am pretty upset now, ”the owner replied.
“I saw a new one. A charming sweet-looking one,” the blonde said.
The owner flared up. “You mean that obnoxious fool. Oh, he’s so stupid.”
The blonde choked on her coffee. “What do you mean, Ms. Morgan? How did he offend you?”
“I don’t want to talk about it.”
“Well I think he’s really attractive really and you probably blushed when you saw him. You get flushed quickly you know,” the blonde teased and waggled her eyebrows.
“Sandra!” Morgan busted. “Stop teasing me, ok. He was rude and I hated him because of that. I mean, I hated him at first sight.”
Sandra was going to continue when they heard a knock.
“Come in,” Morgan ordered.
“Ms. Morgan, your father wishes to see you,” the messenger said and disappeared from the office.
“Let’s go, Sandra,” Morgan said and they walked out of the office.
Mr. Edgecombe was sitting staring at a newspaper with his spectacles on in his office waiting for Morgan. It was a large office with two chairs and two sofas. Previous CEOs' pictures in the golden frame were hung across the room. There were little books on the table and a lamp. He looked at his wristwatch and they came in. Sandra stopped a few steps after the door but Morgan moved forward and sat.
Mr. Edgecombe put away the newspaper and his face lit up with a smile. “ Welcome my dearest Morgan,” he said.
“Morning, Father, “Morgan replied. “What is the reason for my being called upon?”
“It’s high time you got a personal assistant,” he started. “Pick one of the faithful people around you. A business person is incomplete without a personal assistant.”
Morgan rested her back on the chair. “Well, I haven’t found one. I like Sandra being my secretary although she does the work of my PA. I’ll only like to call her a secretary,” she said.
“ So you’re saying you haven’t found one in this whole organization?” Mr. Edgecombe asked surprised.
“Yep,” she said. “ And now don’t say I resemble my mom.”
“ You know I will,” Mr. Edgecombe laughed.” Well, find one fast.”
……..SHE STOPPED BY THE shop that afternoon. She looked familiar but I was sure I had not seen her before. I could not deny that she was a beauty but I could hold it in. Her hand was smooth and look silk soft. I was tempted to touch it but I fought back. " Why not wait for a waiter?" I asked, avoiding her emerald eyes." I have a choice not to, don't I?" She said in a beautiful voice.I nodded saying 'sure'. I wiped the counter, avoiding her hand and hanging the rag, I asked, " What do you want, my lady?"She rested her face on her hand, leaning forward, and said, " What would you recommend, handsome face?"" Deep black coffee. I do not know why. I just like to pronounce its name."She leaned away and sat erect. " Okay." She stretched out her hands and stroked mine on the counter. " Why are you so handsome?"For some reason, I was uncomfortable but not nervous. " Because God made me."" Well God made all of us."Right, I thought. She had a point. I was happy when she didn't pressed f

Sandra was stood in front of Putin Global in a beige coat. It was snowing a little and I darted to her. "Is this perhaps fate?" I asked her. "I'm wearing a beige coat too." "Nah it just the common colour everyone wears," she replied curtly and I resisted the urge to argue with her. "So, it's going to be crowded inside and you don't need to be nervous." "Come on, I'm used to a lot of attention," I replied boastfully. "Everyone eyes is always on me " "Well this might be different.
